I beg to differ about her “inexperience.” She is governor of a major oil state and of necessity must know how the industry functions. Her government must negotiate with the oil men just as all oil states, her and abroad. From why I have heard, she has no illusions about “Big Oil.” And her record shows she has worked to get the best deal she can from them, and get more money distributed to the voters. This is opposed to the excess profits tax approach which would simply put more money into the general federal fund, to be spent on more pork.
