The GREAT PROPHET MOHAMMED was mentioned by name in the forgotten gospel of Barnabas, who was one of the disciples of THE GREAT PROPHET JESUS CHRIST.
The gospel is here: www.barnabas.net/
in the aforementioned site, make a search for the word "mohammed".
heres a sample: from part 97
Then said the priest: `How shall the Messiah be called, and what sign shall reveal his coming?'
Jesus answered: `The name of the Messiah is admirable, for God himself gave him the name when he had created his soul, and placed it in a celestial splendour. God said: "Wait Mohammed; for thy sake I will to create paradise, the world, and a great multitude of creatures, whereof I make thee a present, insomuch that whoso bless thee shall be blessed, and whoso shall curse thee shall be accursed. When I shall send thee into the world I shall send thee as my messenger of salvation, and thy word shall be true, insomuch that heaven and earth shall fail, but thy faith shall never fail." Mohammed is his blessed name.'
Then the crowd lifted up their voices, saying: `O God, send us thy messenger: O Mohammed, come quickly for the salvation of the world!'
what do you think?
LOL! Sounds like MY house, except without the alter-ego part.
Kiernan! You hit Connor with your LEGO!
Connor! Will you STOP trying to stick Kiernan's left leg up his nose and let ME be the Parent, here?!
BOTH of you! Here! Nnnnoooww!
Then comes the trading of apologies and supplications for forgiveness -- and we insist that they be genuine; eye contact and clear speech is a must -- followed by a demonstration that affirms the restoration of right relationship -- and this is the telltale, here -- THE HUG.
AWWWWWwwww!
You know if they resist that hug they're not over it, yet.
And so do they. LOL!
I believe (as in "I've been told" and I've seen some supporting evidence, but I do not really know the law in this regard) that the legal/federal definition of "firearms" does not include "cartridge-less" guns, such as black-powder muskets. (I seem to recall there is/was a revolver that fit into this category?)
But you're an NRA instructor and would know this better than I...?
Am I wrong?
Heh. Been there often enough...
ROTFL! That is SO funny!!! I wish I could have been there!
My kids would rather have come to blows than kiss and make up. It's probably a good thing they are 2000 miles apart...
:o])
I'm sorry! (My mind is racing all over the place)
I believe that firearms made before 1898 are exempt & are not considered a 'firearm'. A friend of mine here, who is far more knowledgeable than I am on the matter, said that there are quite a few .32 cal revolvers that you can buy w/o a license, registry, etc.
I don't know if there are only specific models, but there are a few exemptions to the rule.
Yah...somewhere, I have the list of things I did on a day when I didn't do anything because I kept getting side-tracked, and couldn't figure out why I was so tired at bedtime.
If I can find it, I'll post it. It's an oldie, but still funny.
Wow!
I haven't moved quite that much, but I'm no stranger to it.
I'm finding junk, old papers, bank statements, etc from 1998 or before. Its insane! Pretty good to get rid of lots of garbage though. Lots more to go too.
With a few moves under your belt, you get to where you can automatically throw out things that you know you won't need EVER. And you tend to keep things that are useful and sturdy. Most everything else can be replaced, and often, we find something better than what we left.
Good luck with your weeding. A good rule of thumb: If you haven't "needed" it in six months, you don't need it. Throw it out or give it to someone who can use it.
I'm outta here for the night. See y'all tomorrow!
James is a duplicate of himself, and Pat picks on him (them?). We don't worry much about reconciliation, with Pat's being 4 and James 2. If the hostilities appear life-threatening, we separate them until they forget about it.
Granted a .32 is a lousy caliber, but it's considered a firearm in MA. I don't know about antique ones, but I can see why they could be exempted.
Good night, all! I am way too tired to continue...
Hmmmm... Not much activity since I was here last.
We were all off studying the tax code.
Good. You can help me with the "big paper" then. :-p
Hi y'all. Away on business. No time to FReep. See ya soon!
