I do a weekly adoration hour. If you are familiar with the devotion of Eucharistic Adoration, skip the next paragraph. If not, allow me to explain. |
Not from this Baptist.
Thank you Salvation. Our parish offers perpetual adoration in the chapel and it is indeed comforting and spiritually fulfilling. I need to do it regularly.
By the way, speaking of adoration for vocations, I know a young man named Ryan who is contemplating a vocation to the priesthood. If anyone reading this thread could pray for him, I'm sure it would help him discern what God intends for his life. Thanks! GG
Will do, GG!
He'll be prayed for - on Friday at Adoration, too!
Excellent article.
Beautiful post Salvation.
Thank you both!
**Thanks for the post, BTW!**
You're welcome!
God bless your parents! That is love of the Blessed Sacrament and Jesus present in it!
** I think it really makes a palpable and positive difference when a parish truly centers around the Blessed Sacrament.**
Definitely. A couple who had been away for six months spoke tonight at a Faith Formation about the changes for the good that they see happening in our church. More reverence, more prayer...............their reasoning is our new priest.
**To tell you the truth I don't even know if my parish does it. I should look into it.**
Ask about it!
Prayers for Ryan right now and throughout the week. My son is also walking this road although he has been dating for the last six weeks.
Can you believe that we talked on the phone for over 40 minutes about the Catholicity in a marriage and how he could make sure it would be there??
I hung up the phone and cried tears of joy that he is even concerned about a true Catholic marriage! Please pray for him too.
You have a FReepmail.
Thank you"Salvation"
