You might be interested in #35.
You people really are something else. It gets richer all the time.
LOL! But newgeezer does have a point. You called him/her a name first.
-- the testimony of the man whom she married --
they sentenced her to die
sending her soul to an eternity in glory with God (that is what she believed, no?).
Thank you.
One could go back into the history of almost anyone (including myself) and find they made such comments. Such remarks are hardly the serious basis for a life and death decisions, and are far from the criteria required to meet the standard for clear and convincing evidence.
Shirley you can't be series!
That's quite all right TA, I'm still laughing that she said
her 2ND post would be a pleasant one, but she counted wrong. LOL!
Muawiyah was right, it is VERY hard to 'ignore' them.
I'll start... Here is a link that is back 'on subject'...

CALL FOR PRAYERS for the Schindlers!
Thanks FUE I was already there but will visit again! : )
>>>the criteria required to meet the standard for clear and convincing evidence.
I wish the laws were changed so that nowhere in this country a probate judge could kill someone based on just one person's opinion of the 'clear and convincing evidence'.
A serial killer gets judged 'beyond any reasonable doubt', and
if one out of the TWELVE feels otherwise, they don't execute.
But Terri's "supposed" comments do not reflect a decision she made after rendering serious and thoughtful consideration. They were off hand remarks.
Matters regarding life and death should be in writing which would be an indication that the author gave them the kind of reflection such grave issues deserve.
And deviating later oral pronouncements by the same author should trump past written directives.
However, ultimately, no one should have the right to ask another by their actions to cause their own death. It is immoral and corrupting to the individuals who are so involved and to the medical profession in general. In fact, since there exists no right to suicide or assisted suicide, (except in Colorado), it is surprising such requests have so commonly been put into effect.
Yes, and the injustices extend sooooo far beyond her alledged 'wish' to die...
There was also the question of her alledged 'PVS state', by a 3 to 2 vote of doctors
and her alledged 'inability to swallow'
and her alledged 'inability to be better diagnosed' by a PET scan
and her alledged 'inability to benefit from new swallowing therapy'
and her alledged occasional spoken word, just like the firefighter Donald Herbert,
and her alledged 'wish to divorce michael'
and her alledged 'broken bones'
and HIS alledged 'viscious temper'....
the list just goes on, and on...
The lowlife greer ignored or BLOCKED everything that wasn't
favorable toward killing her!
Rest in peace, dear Terri. We miss you.
How right you are!
"The lowlife greer ignored or BLOCKED everything that wasn't favorable toward killing her!"
He sure did. He couldn't have been more partial!
I miss Terri too. I miss the HAPPY ENDING she and her family could have and should have enjoyed.
It's funny you mentioned the happy ending they should have had. I kept imaging it. Well, of course, Terri is so happy now!!! But I just couldn't handle the 13 days of hell she went through! That was so cruel!! And her poor parents, brother and sister! It was unimaginable horror.
I hope the Schindler's get to the point where they find some peace on this earth . . . and justice.
Please notify me via FReepmail if you would like to be added to or taken off the Prayer Ping List.
Please post your prayers to terri@priestsforlife.org via email. Or just post them to franky and franky will get them the messages.
The court did, but Terri didn't.
*************
Terri, her parents and Father Pavone are an inspiration to us all.
I hope Terri isn't resting, but is jumping and shouting and praising God and having a great time with Him in heaven!
:-D
...we on earth can't rest, either. We have to keep working to make sure this never, ever, ever happens again. It's time to end this horror.
