But Terri's "supposed" comments do not reflect a decision she made after rendering serious and thoughtful consideration. They were off hand remarks.
Matters regarding life and death should be in writing which would be an indication that the author gave them the kind of reflection such grave issues deserve.
And deviating later oral pronouncements by the same author should trump past written directives.
However, ultimately, no one should have the right to ask another by their actions to cause their own death. It is immoral and corrupting to the individuals who are so involved and to the medical profession in general. In fact, since there exists no right to suicide or assisted suicide, (except in Colorado), it is surprising such requests have so commonly been put into effect.
Yes, and the injustices extend sooooo far beyond her alledged 'wish' to die...
There was also the question of her alledged 'PVS state', by a 3 to 2 vote of doctors
and her alledged 'inability to swallow'
and her alledged 'inability to be better diagnosed' by a PET scan
and her alledged 'inability to benefit from new swallowing therapy'
and her alledged occasional spoken word, just like the firefighter Donald Herbert,
and her alledged 'wish to divorce michael'
and her alledged 'broken bones'
and HIS alledged 'viscious temper'....
the list just goes on, and on...
The lowlife greer ignored or BLOCKED everything that wasn't
favorable toward killing her!
Rest in peace, dear Terri. We miss you.
