Archbishop Gomez Expects Discipline for Episcopal Church
The Episcopal Church will be disciplined for permitting same-sex liturgical blessings and for consecrating a sexually active homosexual person as Bishop of New Hampshire, according to the Most Rev. Drexel Gomez, Primate of the West Indies and a member of the Lambeth Commission, which is due to issue a recommendation later this year.
The bishops of Dallas and Pittsburgh were joined by some leaders of the Episcopal Churchs mission community, the Presiding Bishops of two continuing Anglican churches and the Primate of the Southern Cone at a conference in Nassau, Bahamas, March 30-April 1.
Building upon the relationships forged by meetings of the U.S. Anglican Congress over the past two years, participants envisioned a mission-centered approach to resolving the crisis of faith and order facing the Anglican Communion.
The Primate of the Southern Cone, the Most Rev. Gregory Venables, asked American traditionalists to be in non-stop, around-the-clock prayer over the next five months for the members of the primates commission. There is no way to know what our Communion will look like in two years, but we can be assured of the steadfast presence of God and Christ.

The interesting thing to me is that Venables is a member of the Commission, and is therefore presumably constrained in what he can say. So I think this tells us the direction the Commission going, and it's probably yet another warning to the ECUSA -- which they'll no doubt again ignore.
This isn't unexpected, but it is encouraging.

I must agree. The ECUSA sponsored the abortion rally this past weekend which confirms a long held suspicion I have harbored. I doubt the commission will be able to think of anything that will convince the ECUSA to repent. They see the CoE as being in their corner. For them that is all that matters. Deep down most Liberals are patronizing racist anyway. Their concern for other cultures and poor people is limited to their use as logs for roasting orthodox believers.
I will never return to the Anglican fold the King James Bible converted me to Traditional Catholicism.
God bless you who stay, when you realize you are clinging to the cliffs edge, let me know.

Try a Latin Rite Catholic Mass, it will feel very close to what you are used to. Low Mass has much in common with Low Church Episcopalian. Don't let the Latin scare you. Tell them at the door you may need help with the missal. I found the Traditional Latin Missal easier to use than the current Prayer Book. Tell me what state you are in and I will look up a location.
