Dino-blood and the Young Earth: YECs embarass Christians

Once again, the YECS emabarass Christians with their shoddy "science" and give skeptics more reasons not to believe.
http://home.austarnet.com.au/stear/YEC_and_dino_blood.htm
As the article says: Serious questions of credibility are raised by the falsehoods and misrepresentations exposed above. The dino-blood chimera has been widely promoted by Answers in Genesis...No scientist could continue his or her career guilty of such shoddy work, but we predict that there will be no negative consequence to Wieland or his organization. If you "own" the truth, you apparently needn't stint at falsehood.

You'd think incindiary statements like. "Hi Adrian,.....Young Earth Creationists are like the "Flat Earth" people of last century, they latch on to pieces of straw, ignoring the bale." would get them arrested under the new tolerance laws down under.

These types of arguments are always meaningless. For example, if an omnipotent God could create a universe in six days couldn't there also be data which God designed so that our scientists would misinterpret the evidence to make them think the earth is older?
I don't wish to argue the merits of this. It all comes down to faith. So far our "scientists" have not created a universe in the labortory so their "theory" of evolution also rest on shakey grounds.

The scientifically-proven Laws of Thermodynamics contradict and deny "evolutionism" and points decisively to a young Earth. I'm calling your bluff. Show how the entropy in question was calculated or measured.
Precisely-measured changes in Earth's magnetic field point towards a young earth.
Huh? The record of rocks on the seafloor shows that the magnetic field has flipped its polarity many times.

For God to creat false information to throw us off... implicates large theological problems... How can one trust God, who seems to be arbitrary or how can you trust His words if He intentionally "create" false information "lie"...hmmmmm
God is faithful and truthful, I lay my life at his foot.
Thank you God.

YEC doubts about this report

It's very likely that Jesus of Nazareth would be totaly ashamed of the feather-weight chocolate-soldiers who masquerade as "christians" today. And how can we be assured that you are not a tare sent to sow dissention among the brethren?
What makes you better or closer to Jesus than the feather-weights? Are you more forgiven? Are you more holy? Are you more righteous? If so, how do you know and how can we know what you know?

Well, you're correct of course. I was trying (albeit poorly) to be a little more philosophical than theological. I took my idea from Star Trek Episode 43-just kidding. :O)
At the very end it all comes down to faith.

You have "faith" that God designed data "so that our scientists would misinterpret the evidence to make them think the earth is older?" Weird.
I have faith that God loves me and wants me to know the truth, which is that the Universe is about 15 billion years old, the earth is about 4.5 billion years old, and life on earth evolved.
No, God has no reason to trick me, and I have nothing to explain away.
To: wiclif
It seems very inconsistent to argue, on the one hand, that God wanted us to know the truth so He told it to us in the Book of Genesis, but at the same time wanted to fool us, so He created false data in the physical universe.
God created the physical universe directly, but the Book of Genesis was written by men who were inspired by God - which is indirect.
Seems to me that mankind is frail and able to make mistakes. How do you explain cosmology and geology and all the rest of it to man with no conception of these things? Who maybe "sees" it but has no words to describe it?
So where is the truth more likely to be? In a book written by men, albeit divinely inspired, or in the actual universe created by God Himself?
I don't see it as an either-or proposition. I believe both, but when they conflict, I suspect errors in transcription.

Please quote the Laws of Thermodynamics and explain how they
prove a young earth.

No as I said in an earlier post, I used a poor (STUPID) analogy. Sorry I brought it up.

Despite all of the emotion and gratuitous bad-mouthing, the Facts remain inviolate :I've noticed that you failed to back up your "facts" when questioned by posters in this thread. May I ask why?
I would balk as well, if my assertions were so absurd.

Comment from the

Perhaps it should not be surprising that creationists even "quote mine" themselves!

How come so-called "christians" are being "embarrassed" by "young-earth-creationists"? "We have demonstrated above that Carl Wieland, writing for Answers in Genesis, falsely represented this research to his readers."
To: VadeRetro
Creationism means never having to say you're sorry.
