In Oregon, we're paying VERY close attention to California. Which is why the liberal/left here is using increasingly intimidating and vicious tactics!

(HEY! LA Times! - Arnold won - 63% voted (R) - roll that in your paper and smoke it!)

Allot of us that see some behavior as a "sin" do not want to legislate it. Freedom (even to sin) is paramount to the very concept of Salvation.
We do however want to fight special attention and rights simply for ones sexual preferences.
While I do not want to ban porn or put gays in jail - I do not want to be forced to hire anyone and I do not want the porn paraded down the street. I do demand that the epidemic of AIDs be dealt with as any other fatal virus.
Gay marriage and Gay adoption are not about the sexuality per say - it is about societal foundations and the trash heap of history made up of societies that forgot - that may change in American - but lets be Conservative about it.

Would it be too bold to say the Democrats have abandoned the majority of Californians?
Not too bold at all. In fact, quite accurate. In my opinion, the Dems have done so nationwide, not just here in California.

Editorial: California Crushes Liberals I luv hearing the moans of Liberals being crushed in the morning. Let's crush some more! Bring out the bulldozers!

"Conservatives view human behavior with a protective eye, what has worked and what is practical.
So what makes them different than liberals with the exception that they're bent on a different agenda??
Sodomy is unhealthy, dirty. It also confuses the young.
Whose advocating that the young should participate in sodomy?! Hell the young shouldn't even be practicing missonary?! What confusion are you talking about???
Conservatives view government as a competitor to the market place. Where there is a natural market for government such as national security, there is toleration of government taxes."
Errrrr..... So your saying that conservatism is about goverment control just like the libs but just in a different direction. So where does personal responsibility and freedom come into play???

"The Big Tent" isn't just a myth anymore, at least in California, and I am so happy about that! Although myself, I am much more conservative than Arnold, I am so thrilled to see that the party has finally attracted more of a cross section of the populace. Perhaps it takes a big name like Arnold to do it, but nevertheless, we have made history here! I just hope the democrats and some republicans will work with him to help get this state back on it's feet!

You didn't answer my questions??? Why is that? Because you want to hijack a politcal party and turn it into a theocratic war wagon based on old testament "principals"?

A Rudy Giuliani presidential run in '08?How about a VP run in '04? It would put New York in the Republican column.
To: GoOrdnance
Yeah, that's what scared me more than anything when I watched his victory speech last night - - all those big Kennedy teeth smiling everywhere, all around Arnold. Let's hope they are more like John Jr. than Patrick.
I hope Arnold does well, but he will not get any help from the Democrat legislature. He's got to watch his back because they will ambush him at every opportunity. As long as he keeps his promise to never raise taxes he will be supported by the people who voted for him. If he was to break that promise he would be toast, and he would deserve to be recalled himself.

It seems Mr. Horowitz will extend his recent track record by being wrong again.

Do yourself a favor and take a seditive. Or go out get a beer and see a movie. Life is too short to put up with your negative vibes.

Kinda funny to think of al gore and bill clinton or jesse jackson as the big guns this article's author calls um.
Yeah-Gray had um out in an attempt to bolster his chances of staying in office-lol-but that was the same big mistake others have made in the past.
Liberals must have a huge problem in learning from past experience! Ok by me! LOL
The one thing I kept noticing over and over again as various shots of Gray, in various places, with his entourage behind him was shown yesterday was the indisputable fact that all of the men folk and some of the women folk surrounding Gray and jesse jackson looked like thugs. I am constantly amazed at the meanness on the faces of the goons that slum up close to jesse, but was surprised to see the same types around Gray. Is this a dem kinda thingie?
And it was flat out funny in one sequence of videos of gray to see jesse jackson trying so hard to find a space behind gray that would get his own ugly mug front and center---too funny. Such desparation. Such publicity hunting! And such a mark of a truly small man.
