We could find tons of flesh eating bacteria in missile heads ready to fire, and the Democtrats would still support their boy Saddam. He's one of their favorite dictators.

KAY: It's not a weapon in the sense of it was ready to be fired. It is absolutely the essential element that only time and a little growth media would have produced large amounts of Botulinum toxin. SNOW: And you also had a number of scientists coming forward and telling you that there were plans afoot that, if they were given the orders to create chemical or biological weapons, there was a certain timetable in which they would be able to produce them.
Thank God for Bush and pre-emptiveness.
Imagine if Bush had not been in charge! Scary!
Gore would have welcomed mass murder. It would have reduced the strain on "Mother Earth".

The only problem with this interview is it didn't reach enough people (doubters). Fox News is our favorite, but I'm afraid the "idiotic independents" are going to be duped by the mainstream headlines. Bush better use that bully pulpit and fast.

Take note....
-The New York Times: "No Illicit Arms."
-The Washington Post: "No Banned Weapons."
-The Los Angeles Times: "No Illicit Iraqi Arms."
-USA Today: "No Illegal Weapons."
Geez, my liberal friends keep telling me there is no bias in the Media. Perhaps if the NY Slimes took time to interview David Kay they too may actually report the news rather then spin it....we know that will never happen don't we.

Rod Frelinghuysen (R-NJ) and Newt Gingritch both were just on FoxNews.
Both were saying that the Bush Admin needs to get out in front of these new stories, PR wise.
Newt said he couldn't understand why GWB allowed the Kay report to be portrayed negatively for 48 hours without a response--even though the report basically says Saddam had the elements to create WMD.
The NJ Congressman said essentially the same thing--that GWB is not getting the word out that "good" is happening in Iraq and in the war on terror.
Someone needs to wake up the WH. A week of negatives sink into peoples' psyches. Then when the Admin denies them, the opposition cries "lie"--and it appears that the Admin is -- lying.
The Clinton Admin would spin, sometimes even minutes before the negative story hit the airwaves. They were ahead of the game--thus, even the most severe negatives did not stick.
The Bush2 Admin needs to take a page from the Clinton playbook. They need to be on-air in minutes, not days, of breaking news that the media is spinning negatively.
It is a long way to Nov 2004, and a lot more negative stories will surface weekly/monthly against the GWB Admin before then. Rove/Bush/Hughes/whoever-is-in-charge of the GWB campaign need to activate a PR group for the immediacy of breaking negative news. Why---duh! Look at the poll numbers. They are sinking. The left's negative campaign is working, working, working. The GWB Administration is slowly melting, melting, melting, as the left portrays it as the Wicked Witch of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

I think that Bush is playing Texas poker, and will show his hand once Kay's team finds some actual WMD, then he can finaly tell the world "sit down and STFU"

KAY: It's much larger. It contains anthrax, and that's one reason we're actively interested in getting it. The 9-11 anthrax mailings in the US now thought to be Iraqi in origin?
Why else would David Kay be more interested in anthrax than other agents?

The left can squirm and spin for awhile, and all Bush has to do is call for a major press report to make them all look like idiots.
He has time on his side. There's still more info for Kay to sort through.
Patience is a good thing. The left is overly emotional, and givin enough time (and a little more rope), Bush will slam them when the time is right. (The left hates it when Bush rises above their nonsence. They go friggen nuts.)

Right behind Castro. Oh yeh, and Clinton sure was pretty kind to O Soma Bin Leftie.
The left will never forgive Reagan for tearing down the wall of the socialist states of Russia, the lefts earthly utopia. LOL. That one will tee them off forever!

Newt said he couldn't understand why GWB allowed the Kay report to be portrayed negatively for 48 hours without a responseActually, Bush on Friday morning made a couple of comments to reporters that he thought the report justified the action taken against Saddam's regime. And friggin' Bloomberg managed to lie that Bush claimed that the report proved the threat was "imminent", when Bush said no such thing in his comments. I guess the Dems have such a case of imminence on the brain that they just reflexively add it to any story about Iraq and WMDs.

The Kay report was released late LAST WEEK. The left had the entire weekend talkshowcircuit to bash it as proving their "no WMD's found" case. No counter response the entire weekend. Every weekend newstalkshow and major left newspaper and major left media news program carried----"no WMD's found", GWB lied about the reason, blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada. That sinks into the public's minds!
The same applied to the CIA/Wilson/Novack scandal. The "appearance" is tha the WH was behind this.
Perceptions, especially wrong ones, can be dangerous in political camps. Newt, on FoxNews was speaking from experience. Count how many major Dems have gone down to defeat because of scandals in the last 15 years? How many Pubs? See, these scandals take down more Pubs in the final count.

Well... I guess the President's biggest mistake was that he didn't hire you as his political strategist... since you always seem to know what to do in every circumstrance... and according to you, you would do a far better job than anyone in the White House.
