Anything for you to not discuss the ludicrous statements given by the President before the war on the levels of WMDs in Iraq Separate issue. Maybe you are 100% correct.

I did comment on your assertion concerning the relevance of the botulism culture that was found.

Your comments did not withstand analysis and you were not able to defend them.

Nope and not a dern thing that has been said has yet to 'clue' me in . The President of this nation of states laid out what would be found and to date nothing has been found. The argument was that 'time' would be needed, wait for Kay's report. Well, Kay's report is here and gone, and all I see is one vial of botulism in a refrigerator. Please tell me this nation of states did not go to war based on one vial of botulism.

Unfortunately tying the talking heads of this administration down to the main reason is about as easy as catching a firefly with chopsticks (not that I've tried it). I do not subscribe to the neocon thought process, and I've yet to see any viable reason, cause, or argument to sway my stance. I have not seen any direct threat that Iraq offered to the borders of this nation of states, no more than from say Saudi Arabia, Syria, or the PLO (bunch of squatters). I have yet to hear of the tens of thousands of munitions, or any of the WMDs.

What I have seen in Kay's report is pitiful at best. If that's what the Armed Forces went to war over, then God help us all. The administration has already disavowed any Iraqi ties to 9/11 or Al Qaeda through talking head Paul Wolfowitz (another PNAC lackey)

Q: And when did you start to think that perhaps Iraq had something to do with it?

Wolfowitz: I’m not sure even now that I would say Iraq had something to do with it. I think what the realization to me is -- the fundamental point was that terrorism had reached the scale completely different from what we had thought of it up until then. And that it would only get worse when these people got access to weapons of mass destruction which would be only a matter of time.

So to answer your question. No I don't get it, and I doubt I ever will. What's even worse is that many conservatives do get it and just don't care the path this nation of states is going.

But I will say I'm still open minded. If WMDs are produced (not WMD 'programs'), I will give credit due to the administration. However I still will not think that this nation of states was ever at risk from attack by Hussein in anyway to justify the war at the level, costs, and loss of life it has costs this nation of states so far.
