The Lord is GOOD. The Lord is loving and merciful.
The Lord loves Terri.
We prayed today at church and on the way home there was a huge rainbow running the length of our drive home. I have not seen one in many years.
I have believed since the Friday hearing that things were turning around. I believe that God is with us all, and especially Terri and her family.

Thank you for posting this, Lady. Below is a copy of my latest e-mail to Gov. Bush's office:
Dear Governor Bush:
With an easy review of the Terri Schiavo history, it is most apparent that Florida Protective Services is woefully lax in doing their duty for this Florida resident, Terri Schiavo. Additionally, the Judge commanding her execution via dehydration has numerous conflicts of interest in this case, including but not limited to close ties to the attorney representing the husband seeking Terri's execution, a totally inappropriate release of funds set aside for Terri's rehabilitation therapy yet authorized to be spent instead by the husband to pay the attorney he's hired to seek Terri's execution, and a very questionable assignation of a state approved physician to examine Terri, a physician connected to atty Felos and thus to the euthanasia movement Felos champions.
Terri is definitely not in a coma and certainly is more cognizant and reactive than a person in a persistent vegetative state. To remain a spectator while a corrupt execution is being undertaken in your state seems incredible. The nation awaits your reasonable intervention via state attorney's office and/or Florida Protective Services, noting the cloying lack of real and profoundly reasonable involvement. This case is not going to be forgotten and a Governor's feckless political dallying will stand out quite unfavorably ... don't think to play politics with this most serious assault on the LIFE of a disabled woman.
Sincerely, though with not too much regard at this late juncture,

This is not the time to hesitate. The wonderful people who have devoted so much time to this life affirming effort have heroically taken a step forward. But Evil does not surrender easily.

Starving someone like this to death is a most barbaric manner to kill someone.
It is insanity and, most of all, cowardice.
She should not be murdered -- in any way -- but, for those that feel she should die, if they were not abject cowards, they would give her a painless injection rather than starve her to death over weeks with convulsions, seizures, foaming at the mouth etc...

he plans to marry his fiancé with whom he has begun having children, but he can't while his wife is still living; Can't he just be given a divorce so he can do whatever with his lover and let his wife be with the family who loves her? Or is it insurance money he's after?

Just got the following in my e-mails:
Greer Denies Motion Allowing Terri Schiavo to Eat on Her Own Clearwater, FL (LifeNews.com) --
On Monday, Circuit Court Judge George Greer told Terri Schiavo's parents that their motion to allow Terri to learn to eat on her own prior to the removal of her feeding tube would not be granted -- at least not now. Greer denied the motion on a legal technicality, saying the family's attorney had not used the proper legal means to advance the motion and that the issue of allowing Terri to eat on her own would be decided later this week. Greer is considering whether or not to allow Terri to have rehabilitative care. That's been a sticking point for the family who say that Michael Schiavo, Terri's husband, has denied her such medical help. The Schindlers have doctors who believe she could be rehabilitated with new and aggressive therapy.
George Felos, the euthanasia crusader who is Michael's attorney, told Greer that doctors he has consulted with have testified that Terri is capable of swallowing her saliva. However, if given water or pureed food, Felos says Terri will choke on it and the blockage could lead to pneumonia.

Is it, perhaps, that he is afraid she will gain, via rehabilitation therapy, sufficient language skills to divulge how she came to collapse and chronicle the abuse Michael has showered upon her?

Let's hope that this weaning off the food tube and eating by mouth can be facilitated.
God bless her and her parents and siblings who have fought hard and long for Terri's right to life!

It sure seems that way. He's too intent on making sure she dies. All this adulterous husband has to do is walk away --- he can leave her, the family who brought her into the world can take her --- but he wants his wife dead for a reason. It's amazing to me that a judge would allow him any decision once the adultery was known.
