Thank you for posting this, Lady. Below is a copy of my latest e-mail to Gov. Bush's office:

Dear Governor Bush:

With an easy review of the Terri Schiavo history, it is most apparent that Florida Protective Services is woefully lax in doing their duty for this Florida resident, Terri Schiavo. Additionally, the Judge commanding her execution via dehydration has numerous conflicts of interest in this case, including but not limited to close ties to the attorney representing the husband seeking Terri's execution, a totally inappropriate release of funds set aside for Terri's rehabilitation therapy yet authorized to be spent instead by the husband to pay the attorney he's hired to seek Terri's execution, and a very questionable assignation of a state approved physician to examine Terri, a physician connected to atty Felos and thus to the euthanasia movement Felos champions.

Terri is definitely not in a coma and certainly is more cognizant and reactive than a person in a persistent vegetative state. To remain a spectator while a corrupt execution is being undertaken in your state seems incredible. The nation awaits your reasonable intervention via state attorney's office and/or Florida Protective Services, noting the cloying lack of real and profoundly reasonable involvement. This case is not going to be forgotten and a Governor's feckless political dallying will stand out quite unfavorably ... don't think to play politics with this most serious assault on the LIFE of a disabled woman.

Sincerely, though with not too much regard at this late juncture,

Starving someone like this to death is a most barbaric manner to kill someone.

It is insanity and, most of all, cowardice.

She should not be murdered -- in any way -- but, for those that feel she should die, if they were not abject cowards, they would give her a painless injection rather than starve her to death over weeks with convulsions, seizures, foaming at the mouth etc...

he plans to marry his fiancé with whom he has begun having children, but he can't while his wife is still living;

Can't he just be given a divorce so he can do whatever with his lover and let his wife be with the family who loves her? Or is it insurance money he's after?

Let's hope that this weaning off the food tube and eating by mouth can be facilitated.

God bless her and her parents and siblings who have fought hard and long for Terri's right to life!
