Hi all.
We had a visit from another disruptor, who has decided to grace us with postings of a rather vulgar image (to put it mildly).
We have received a few mails from people asking if we could delete the picture from their "My Comments" page. At the moment, we cannot. In the interim, what you can do if one is in your "My Comments" page is to set the "My Comments" page to "brief" rather than "full". This will hide the content of the posts, thereby hiding the graphic. To switch the setting, just click on the word "Brief" near the top right of your "My Comments" page, or click here.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Additional advice: those who have Mozilla browsers can "right click" on the picture and select "Block images from this server". Next time the page is reloaded, you don't have to look at that garbage, just a nice blank spot.I am pretty sure Mac users with iCab can do something similar.57 posted on 09/05/2003 11:41 AM EDT by Willie Green (Go Pat Go!!!)
Oh, dear. Can goatse be far behind? Er...let me rephrase that...
A big thank you to the AdminMods for taking care of it quickly.
Boy, I'll say.
However it IS emetic...
Here's some interesting things about this troll. Sometimes people doubt us when we say that we have some people who pose here. They pretend to be conservatives, but they like what Dean says. Or they pretend to be conservatives, but they like what Kucinich says. Or they pretend to be conservatives, but would vote for Hillary over Bush (I am not making these up). Or they just make comments about how dissatisfied they are with Republicans. This incarnation of this troll is a good example. Before spamming the tub girl to as many threads as possible before getting nuked, here is what it was posting:

A Wake-Up Call - We failed Miguel Estrada and allowed Senate Democrats to erect a glass ceiling. |

Now I do. Thanks. I'm a fairly recent immigrant to the US, and authough I recieved a pretty good education in US Government where I came from (England), there are many nuances I have yet to fully grasp. Posted by andrew_marczyk to steve8714 On News/Activism 09/05/2003 5:55 AM PDT #10 of 37 I agree that frist is weak, but as for breaking a sweat I have no doubt the dems would have gone 24x7 had the republicans forced them to. I see the so-called "nuclear option" as a bad idea because if, god forbid, the dem's take control of both the White House and Senate at some point, the GOP is going to need that filibuster to do the same to the liberal judges as the dems have done to Bush's constructionists. What I don't understand is why the hell Bush didn't use a recess appointment for Estrada. My gut tells me he would have had Rove not convinced him otherwise, but that is pure speculation. That said, I can understand why the "nuclear option" was unworkable in the senate (bad precedent and all..), but I would like to know why Bush didn't appoint him during the recess. Anyone? I am not 100% certain, but I believe this is the same person who posted a thread titled something like "Ronald Reagan Dead After Sudden Stroke" that had that graphic in the thread body with a message under it in a large red font saying "F#$% YOU REPUBLICAN NAZIS, Love, the E.L.F."
Just another loving, compassionate progressive. There are some sick people in this world.
That I will...or I maybe I'll go do SomethingAwful. ;^)
