[history]
Antiwar protesters down under are finally getting some recognition. Australia's Daily Telegraph quotes a man named simply Sawad, who helped mix the explosives used in last year's Bali nightclub bombing, as saying: "I want to thank the Australian people who supported our cause when they demonstrated against the policies of George Bush. Say thank you to all of them."

In November 2001, the New York Times reported that Osama bin Laden himself thanked Western "antiwar" demonstrators, in an interview with Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir"
===
So when are they going to start thanking our fine Democrat presidential candidates, Senators and Congressmen and women?
I am sure Dean feels slighted.

If Dean is the nominee for the Dems, I can already see an ad in the works featuring him and Sawad's quote here...

Abdul Ghoni says to beware of America
The article in the Australian paper the WSJ was referring to:
Bali bomber thanks anti-war protesters
THE man who helped mix the deadly one-tonne Bali nightclub bomb Sawad, alias Sardjiyo, yesterday said he wanted to thank the Australian people who had supported his cause during recent Australian anti-Gulf War protests.
""I want to thank the Australian people who supported our cause when they demonstrated against the policies of George Bush. Say thank you to all of them," Sawad said. "
And fellow bomb-mixer Abdul Ghoni urged Australians against forming friendly alliances with America.

"Say thank you to all of them," Sawad said.Ah yes, the "Grateful Terrorist". Most certainly they'll be obliged to use a "kinder gentler" style of "dirty bomb" or bio-agent when attacking the homes, the families and the children of their staunchest supporters. I mean, yeah, these people supported the terorists and all, but what they hey, they're still infidels and must die, but like, thanks for the "good vibes" and all.

The current "anti-war" crowd, which is leftist, anti-American, and anti-semitic, are nothing but sockpuppets for Islamofascists. But they are too stupid, vapid, opportuntistic and self-important to realize it. Or, they are anarchists who hate Western values and success as much as the Islamofascists do. They only serve to empower the Islamofascists, much as the "America Firsters" pre-WWII served to empower Hitler.

"He said, 'I admit there are many good and innocent people living in the West,' " Mr. Mir said, and suggested they should oppose the American policy, as with the Vietnam War. Comparing American policy towards scum like Bin Laden and Vietnam is akin to comparing peaches and diesel engine parts.
