1977? The Democrats truly are stuck in the '70's. That must be why they're still trying to get Mondale elected...
I did some things back in the '70's I would be ashamed to admit now.

We are desperate in California; I just got turned down for an interview today with the county that I'm over qualified for because I do not meet "Department promotional requirements" meaning I'm no a city council woman's daughter.... I'm sick of the politicians in this state, screw it, I hate all politicians.

GOV OF CALIFORNIA ISN'T AS IMPORTANT AS THE PRESIDENT. ALSO, WHEN ELECTING A CELEBRITY YOU UNDERSTAND THAT HOLLYWOOD IS AN INTERESTING PLACE. HE HAS HAD AN INTERESTING LIFE. A PROFESSIONAL, CAREER POL LIKE CLINTON IS HELD UP TO HIGHER STANDARDS. ALSO CLINTON DID IT DURING MARRIAGE, IT WAS ALSO A CONSEQUENCE OF CLINTON'S HYPOCRISY. I KNEW I HATED HIM WHEN HE SAID, "I believed anita hill."
clinton deserved all the heat he got, and his wife who put herself up as a model of feminism deserved to be outted for their loveless, codependent merger.

People say that if I don't support Ahnold I should get the hell off this forum... well I love this forum. I did not say you should "get the hell off this forum."
You Clintinoids want to make me vomit. Oh yes, I am desperate... seeing another bubble burst... Sickening, truly sickening...
You know that I was referring to your anger and disgust and nausea when I asked what you were doing here. You then try to pretend that I was implying you should move on because you don't support Arnold.
Are you as sickened and outraged by your own dishonesty?

Anybody else on the board wish to defend what this "68 grunt" opines about social conservatives? I'm curious to see.I, for one.
And who the hell are you?

1977? The Democrats truly are stuck in the '70's. That must be why they're still trying to get Mondale elected... How about 2001? 3 female journalists in England claimed Arnold groped them during his publicity tour for "Sixth Day". Terminator co-star Linda Hamilton has accused him of the same.
He went on this tv show in 2001 in England, where the interviewer does the interview with her guest in a bed(charming I'm sure).
"Arnold could face a major impediment, however. Last year, stories in both the National Enquirer and Premiere magazine alleged that Arnold had been grabby with some British television hostesses while promoting a film ("Kindergarten Cop-a-Feel" chimed one tabloid), as well as engaging in some more sustained extramarital shenanigans. With an Arnold run rumored to be imminent, Gray Davis's campaign manager, Garry South, wasted no time faxing the articles to reporters, with the inscription, "a real touching story." Arnold nixed running shortly thereafter, leading many to speculate that it was these stories, and not contractual concerns, that kept him out of the gubernatorial race.
As for the charges, Arnold says they are outlandish and untrue. Much of the Premiere reporting contains background sniping. Many of the named grousees were in strangely public situations that would have seemed reckless even by Clintonian standards if Arnold had been committing actual lechery, instead of harmless flirtations in bad taste. For instance, Denise Van Outen, onetime host of Great Britain's "Big Breakfast" show, in which she interviewed guests in a bed, was openly flirtatious with Arnold, saying, "You grabbed my breast," then adding, "I really like it. Go on, have another go." To which Arnold replied, "It was a handful. I never know if my wife's watching. I'll tell her it was a stuntman."
It was 2001 though. And she was encouraging him to grab the other breast, after he grabbed her other one. Can't we just stop living in the past? Btw... I got this from the leftist rag, the weekly standard.

That is a Vote for Cruz, a vote for MECHA. You are going to be surprised when the rest of Mexico shows up in the Golden State.

I agree and I'm very disappointed to read this as well. I can't believe that there are comments on this thread comparing Arnold and Bush as if they have a common past - Even making statement like the previous poster, but not positive in his facts.
There is absolutely no way that comparison of pasts between Bush and Arnold could ever be made. It's sad a few have done this in order to defend Arnold. Very sad indeed.

... Anybody else on the board wish to defend what this "68 grunt" opines about social conservatives? I'm curious to see ..This was an attempt to rally support from your flock. See, you lied. Your character is worthless and you insults impotent. You do support bustamante, we can tell by your incessant badgering, so again you lie. Character matters, as does your lack thereof.

Awwww, that "lie" part really hurt your feelings. Just like the Democrates about Clinton, so now they pile on Bush about how he "lied" when he didn't.
No you are wrong, like usual, I want to hear from everyone that could possibly agree with you. One popped up, but he was as hatefilled and rant oriented as you. I find the whole thing very telling about you social liberals. Flame on!

Since lifetimer pol Tom MadClintock was an adult at that time and according to the LA Times article (August 25, 2003 by Daryl Kelley) fervently pro-military and pro-Vietnam War around that time, can you state what branch of the military that he joined and the terms of service?
ambrose claims: Tom McClintock was 13 years-old when the Vietnam War ended, sweet cheeks.
Are you claiming the Vietnam War ended in 1969 when he was 13 (LA Times indicates he is 47 years old now) or are you simply having trouble getting a factual answer about his military service from "I talk the talk, walk the walk" patriot Tom MadClintock?
To: Voice in your head
Maybe it is damaging, I don't know, but it has been public knowledge for a LONG time and has been acknowledged by Arnold again very recently, and he had the good sense and humor to admit to inhaling.
Look, I suspect that most of that interview was cooked up by some publicity agent and never actually spoken by Arnold himself.
As far as I am concerned the entire episode is farcical and irrelevant.

He was also a virgin until he married. So what? Or is that the new litmus test for Republican candidates - no premarital sex?
To: section9
McCLintock losing by a hair (20,000 out of maybe 5 million cast or something, maybe more) while underfunded last time for Controller, and well ahead the rest of the ticket, hardly strikes me as evidence of being "unelectable."

The interview won't hurt Arnold that much.
However, Oui, Oui is a French magazine. Being associated with the French will drop him at least 10% in the polls -- even in California.
