I would expect in an "unaided" ballot with only voters who have voted in each of the past two major statewide elections, My daughter got great results on such a poll. At election time she was off by about 1%.

We need to be taking down the names of all the Ahnold Poll Jockeys on the FR and create a "Hall of Shame" for them after Ahnold rams his first huge take increase (for the childrun) through the legislature.

Damn...... Some have dropped points since the Simon Poll was released..... hmmmmmmm.
Polls all over the place.... Some want to believe a CBS poll, others bash an ABC poll.... fun to watch.

All of the Polls but the kookie Times poll showed. Arnie on top followed by Bustamante followed by McClintock. Without 10 points seperating each.
The crappy as Times poll showed the recall barely winning, and I can tell you with some degree of certainity my view from the ground is that Davis doesn't have a chance. Obviously, the Demoncraps internal polls told them the same thing which is why were bustin a move.

"Some of you guys are a real embarrassment to McClintock supporters."
McClintock supporters have received their classical training, in political salesmanship.
The method learned in the training is to slur and slam potential voters. By calling them names, being disparaging and sarcastic, they will earn few votes, and as a consequence they won't be bothered with having to govern.
Outsider critic status is therefore maintained, along with "the Stupid Party" title.
In the end, I expect McClintock to singlehandedly earn support from serious conservative voters.
I further expect his supporters to fail to widen that support to middle-of-the-roaders, because they don't grasp how to do it, or why to do it.
Indeed, they are so abrasive and disrespectful of people, that they repell potential voters. But you can't talk to them about it, because they just don't get it.

Well, perhaps I've been wrong. It certainly looks good for Arnold. Then again, it's also definitely an outlier, but none of the polls seem very consistent in this race.
To: truth_seeker
You do realize that I am one of those McClintock supporters?
To: truth_seeker
What I don't get is what benefit an Arnold victory brings.
By the way, if this poll is true, then I expect a lot of apologies from people claiming I'm helping Bustamante win.
And my prediction that Busty comes in third may still come about.
To: Smogger
I'm sure the candidate's internal polls have them moving about with different strageties.... I'm sure that's what helped Simon make his mind up so quickly.... Maybe Arnold head for Conservative talk radio, etc. Arnold with his 'walk abouts' can such the media attention from the other candidates...

Whine, mock, moan, whine, mock, moan, spammed over and over. Actually I style myself as an insuferable wiseguy. And by the way, it worked really well when we were running against Liberal Dick Riordan, give it time.

(It's time for Arnold to stop splitting the Republican vote and step aside for the good of the party)

McClintock polls no higher than 3rd place and is below 20%. Has there ever been an Alphabet Poll (ABC, NBC, CBS, LA Times etc. etc.) that overestimated the voting support for a conservative candidate ?

I tend to put more credibility in the ABC poll. David Dryer was saying that he was over at ABC News when they were analyzing the results. The poll it's self was not done by ABC but by an outside polling agency, I don't remember the name but according to Dave they are respected. Time, of course, will tell.
To: Stars N Stripes
I can't find this poll anywhere. Not even on the abc news website. Have you seen it posted?
