He has said they have a right to practice their faith given to them by the Judeo-Christian God. He has NOT acknowledged that they have a CONSTITUTIONAL right to practice their faith under the 1st Amendment.Once again: Rights are granted by God. They are protected by the Constitution.

The acts of a state official acting in his official capacity have the force of law. Every court in the land recognizes this basic principle.

The ACLU spearheaded the attack to delay the CA recall, just to choose a recent example. yeah, it's very un-american to try to ensure people who live in poor counties have their votes counted accurately.
but calling for a "do over" after you lose an election - now there a move all americans can stand up and be proud of.

Sir you are a coward, and sound like a Marxist. Unjust and illegal laws should not be followed. You also have no common sence or know history. When we remove God from Government than man and lawyers become the law and they can take away all our rights and freedoms. If you had any test. you would stand up for this judge.

I've made it my mission to educate the "conservative" Democrats in my state. It's a never ending battle. I've done so in ways that I have been known as very open with my opinion.

Okay - is the right given to Hindus and Buddhist by the Judeo-Christian God to practice their faith protected by the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution? Judge Moore's own words indicate that he does not believe it is.

Her being a Hindu does not give her faith a basis to be offended by the TEN COMMANDMENTS, because this is a country on "you know what I am going to say".

Well can you think of any other code to live by that would be better than the Ten Commandments? It's not my place to tell people what code they will live by and which is better. I have some suggestions as to how I think people should live, but I offer them to those who truly ask my opinion.
I personally have nothing against the Ten Commandments, as many here think all those against Moore must. I was raised Baptist. I went to a Christian school every day from K to graduation. I have religious beliefs. I have opinions about the Bible. I choose to live a certain way that I feel is appropriate. I have friends with similar beliefs, I have friends who are atheists and I have friends who profess vauge beliefs in this or that. We all respect each other. We all have things in common. They know that I will discuss anything with them at any time if the yare interested.
I, however, will not support a Theocracy. I will not support people who want their understanding of "God's Law" to be the basis for all law. Therefore, I can not support Judge Moore. I have read his words. He is a Theocrat.

I note that you are silent about the court cases provided that show the 14th Amendment was not intended to apply the Bill of Rights to the states.

Why do you run away from your own posts? Are her rights under the U.S. Constitution equal with yours, or not?

I note that you still haven't posted one between the passage of the 14th Amendment and Gitlow.

I'll answer your question, to the extent I know, as soon as you either tell us that citizens of those faiths have Constitutional rights equal to yours or, if not, which ones you have that they don't.

BESIDES, judges cannot disobey the law.In the matter of the Ten Commandments display, Judge Moore is not disobeying the law. He is disobeying a court order.

The number of arrests I heard was 21. I haven't heard a crowd number other than "dozens".

"BTW, what is it many of you Catholics and Orthodox here..."
I (a catholic) have no idea what you are talking about. I and every other Catholic in my life consider prots and evangelicals as our brothers in arms. We are are all in this fight together. Why the chip on you shoulder?
