The ACLU spearheaded the attack to delay the CA recall, just to choose a recent example. yeah, it's very un-american to try to ensure people who live in poor counties have their votes counted accurately.
but calling for a "do over" after you lose an election - now there a move all americans can stand up and be proud of.

May I ask why you are on FR? Go back to DU if this is your opinion.

"yeah, it's very un-american to try to ensure people who live in poor counties have their votes counted accurately." WRONG!
What the ACLU did to those Black people in California was to accuse them of being (collectively) so IGNORANT they didn't know how to punch the correct chad out of a BALLOT!

yeah, it's very un-american to try to ensure people who live in poor counties have their votes counted accurately. They managed to do it last time. And, besides, that wasn't the issue the ACLU was arguing.

If you're referring to the recall itself, it has been done
- according to all of the provisions of the CA constitution
- because Gray Davis used the power of his office to mask the fiscal problems of the state.
