If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
Logan is a gift and we would like it if You would permit him to stay with us a bit longer.
We are asking for a complete healing in Jesus name.
Let his parents and all of those who love him feel Your comforting touch in this dark hour.
Heavenly Father, have mercy on our breaking hearts ... be for Logan the very breath that he needs ... cleanse his system from all impurities ... provide just the right combination of medicines and observations and judgments that another miracle might lay hold of this baby. Only You can comfort the family at this frightful time, such is their fear and dread. Father, be merciful to Beth and Bud and Nana and restore to them ... and us ... the joy that is Logan ... this my prayer, and my cry, before the Throne of Grace, in the name of Jesus, Amen ...
OH MY! After all he has been through.
A little angel is looking after baby Logan.
Dear Heavenly Father after all that Baby Logan has been through I ask that you continue giving him strength to come through this latest set back.
I ask that you be with his family. Comfort them and give them the strength they need to hold up under this.
These things I ask in Jesus name, Amen
UPDATE FROM NANA!
"Hi TC...
Beth just called. They have decided to give the baby blood. They started it sometime early this a.m. She said they have gotten a lot of "gunk" from his lungs and are going to increase the respitory treatments for him. The doctor thinks that this will help clear his lungs. And of course, he's on 2 antibiotics for any infection. Don't know if those would help IF he has pneumonia, but at least they're trying really hard with him.
Not any change in him at this time. Maybe the blood, a new day and the prayers being said for him will bring about a new day for our baby.
So once again Logan looks as he did in his early beginning. A vent tube, 3 IV's and now the big one in his head for blood. That's ok... if it works.... I don't care what he "looks" like.
She is going to also request that only nurses who have been on him in the past be allowed to care for him at this time. We both feel that the ones that know him and of his patterns would be better suited to care for him.
That's all I do know at this time.
Nana"
It's been a long night, my friends.
I know that there were many voices joining mine in prayer last night, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Our little buddy is having a rough time, but with God's help today it will turn around for him.
Please keep praying with me, friends. This day is critical.
May God bless each and every one.

It means so much that I can't describe the feelings.
Thank you, Louie.
