If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers
.I bring you Logan!!!

Oh I can't beleive this. I just can't believe this. This hurts so bad. I will be praying for Logan all day long today. We will be out in the yard under God's blue Colorado sky and we will be working in the yard doing fall cleanup but this baby will be in our thoughts and prayers at every single turn. We will offer everything up today for Logan that whatever the problem is it will be fixed and he can once again start on the road to full recovery.
He has come so far. He's gonna make it because he is a fighter and he's gonna make it becuase we all love this little " once a stranger" baby but now he is in all of our hearts and has become "ours."
Pray, pray, pray for Logan and his mommy. Oh how she must be upset and rightly so. Tell her not to give up though. She has a right to cry and feel sad and angry and all those emotions but ... she trusts God to do the right thing by her little precious baby boy and I know Logan will come through this. Pray mommy like you have never prayed before. Logan knows you are there. He can feel your presence because of that mother child bond. Keep talking to him. Keep telling him to fight and be strong so he can come home soon. He will be listening for you and your thoughts and your voice.
Thank you for the update. Prayers for Logan...all day long!!! Will call on some of my favorite saints today for sure.

Nope, wait a moment. I found the words. You have not come this far for this to be the end Logan. I will have faith for the rest of us who may experience a temporary backslide. You will get through this. You will.

Thank you so much for the pictures TC. Logan looks good, filling out, the chin dimple. I am so grateful he survived the surgery. Thank you for posting the information, especially since BG is deserting us and is out of town.
To: No More Gore Anymore; All
I'm putting together some pictures to post, but I wanted to let you all know the latest:
The problem as related to me is that they put him too far under in surgery.
They can't bring him out from under the anesthesia.
They're giving him a stimulant to counter act the anesthesia.
He's going to be fine, folks.
We have to have faith, and we have to pray for His strength and His love.
A SPECIAL NOTE FROM NANA:
"TC.....
please reassure all that we are keeping each and every message posted to Logan and to us. Right now, I can't even begin to tell you, Brad's Gramma and the Freepers what y'all mean to us. The first thing Beth said after she told me about the baby was, "Mom... I hope TC tells the Freepers so they can pray extra hard for the baby and those who care for him."
This thread has become our lifeline to remind us that we're not alone. Nothing can describe the comfort we derive from that. Will be ever be able to repay everyone for their prayers, their concern and all they continue to do? Never in a million years. We can only say "We love all of them"... and we thank God for them.
I also am reminded that we're not the only ones going thru this. There are parents all over the world with the fear of loosing their precious little ones, that are watching them struggle through the beginning of a frail and fragile beginning. Watching them suffer as no little infant being should have to suffer. But we are indeed the lucky ones. We've been blessed by a worldwide family... how ever did God bless us so? And Logan... he has had the hand of God holding him since the minute of birth. He has the angles singing in his precious baby ears, and he has some very special guardian angels keeping watch over him. I thank God for our blessing.... I thank God for all He continues to do and I pray for the rewards of returned blessings to all.
Nana"

Still praying for Logan here. With our own little one it sometimes took more than one attempt to get him off the vent.
