If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
Congrads!! And as a dad of twin girls a bit of advice. Get some sleep now if you can. You will need it later. No joking by the time my girls were 8 months my wife and I had a date night, my folks took the twins. I fell asleep in a Bon Jovi concert.

Congratulations!! WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!
Two gorgeous newborns and a gorgeous big sis!
The diaper and the angle of the shot make it difficult to tell from the picture about Katherine’s legs, but Daddy seems to think they are fine! Both babies look beautiful to me! : )
How is mom doing? She did a good job!
Prayers for mom and babes, and prayers for the safety of y’all who are travelling back and forth to see them. God bless.
I know the “not out of the woods” scenario and we will continue to pray for the baby girls.

What a wonderful surprise! Such lovely ladies to add to the family. LOL Miss V and the b’day cake. I’ll bet she loved it! :-) Keep up the good work and we’ll keep up the prayers. I look forward to more pictures and updates. (HUGS) to all who’ll have ‘em. ;-)
Congratulations, Grandpa! What beautiful girls! You;ve got a lot of spoiling to do up ahead. :-)
She's doing fine. Talked with her, and Grandma Gata, this morning. They took out the catheter about 1 AM and the IV about 5 or so. So she's tubeless. :) The wound is looking good, no bleeding, and healed enough that it doesn't need to be packed anymore.
The OB used a laser for at least some of the cutting. Poor woman did like 5 C sections, two of them twins, yesterday, plus who knows how many natural deliveries. I don't know how she ever has office hours, and what the other OBs in North Austin are doing. (Some of them are of course her partners in the practice, but that's based across the street from the hospital, and there is another based in the hospital/med center building) :).
More pictures, with less tubes, later. Both babies still have IVs for nourishment, but were supposed to try the more normal routine this afternoon. Beth has lost the air lines, and is breathing completely normally. She's also moved from the warming table to a normal isolete. Kat is still having trouble keeping herself warm (at only 3lb 6 oz that is not exactly a surprise).
BULLETIN! The babies have staged a coup and have taken over Victoria's blog.... do not expect Miss V to take that lying down though.
Miss V is currently on the road with Grandma to Grandma's house where she will remain until Friday when she will return to the Mommy, whether the twins are home or not. She woke up this morning around 5 and discovered it was just her and Grandma in the house. She slept with Grandma the rest of the night, and beyond. Apparently no worse for however much cake and frosting she ate... can't have been much, judging by how much was on the floor, the table and especially the chair cushions.
Thank you for the card. I”ve caputured it, and will forward it, and the link to the tune, to the appropriate parties.
Thanks for the advice. But I'm only their Grandfather. Their mother is my daughter.
I'll sleep fine, since they are about 50 miles south of my house.
I get to spoil them... but I won't... very much anyway.
That’s good news all around! Hopefully, she will heal more quickly and with less soreness. Glad to hear that little Elizabeth is breathing on her own. Hope they get to drink their nourishment soon. That might help little Katherine to warm up too! : )
Prayers for the travellers, and for all.
Look forward to seeing the pictures!
You, and they, are most welcome.
Here you go.

OK, Grampa.....how does Katherine spell her name? Kathryn?
EG! Those are soooooooooo sweet!!! Mommy and daddy both have that so proud look and the girls looks comfy in her arms :)
Reading one of your earlier posts, I think Miss V may have a new art form in mind...cake painting!! You just never know!!! LOL Glad she’s with Grandma G and in bed with her. Logan and I snuggle REAL good :)
Prayers and hugs for and to all......

Good lookin’ family!
I know we can’t tell a lot from a single still shot, but, judging from the angle of these shots, the girls favor a lot, of course : ), but, from what I could tell about Katherine, I thought she favors Mommy, and Elizabeth is the spittin’ image of Daddy. They are beautiful babies!
Pretty little Miss V looks like her mommy, to me.
Congratulations.
Miss V,Elizabeth and Katherine are so adorable.
My prayers are with all of you.
