My lovely wife and I are headed to the Hannity Show tomorrow in Cincinnati. It is our 11th wedding anniversary and she wanted to go to the show for an anniversary gift. What a wife!
It should be interesting to see if Nate Livingstonand his crowd even show up.
Any other Freepers going? If so, would anyone like to suggest a meeting place so we can put faces with names?

Would love to see Hannity, but alas ... my body and my money seldom venture south of I-275 these days into the "socialist" land of Luken and his Merry men. Now I do cross the river to our fair "Newport on the Levee" with regularity. HiramQuick

On Sean's show this week Nate Livingston threatened anyone attending the show with a "Teamsters" style picket line that they would have to cross to see the show.....He tried to be cute and play it down after Sean challenged him but the very implied threat of violence and intimidation was real.
Don't know what the carry requirements are in Ohio but if you are unable to carry I would suggest a can of backwoods Bear Repellant.... Basically 10% OC spray in a 12oz high pressure can....guaranteed to stop a grizzly or disperse a threatening picket line....
Be carefull and enjoy the show!

I am actually an Indiana resident and am not eligible for for CCW in Ohio. We live just across the Indiana border west of Cincinnati.
In the past Nate Livingston's blather has amounted to a lot of nothing. When the rubber meets the road maybe 4 or 5 "boycotters" show and they keep to themselves. That's been the result at a few of the festivals in Cincinnati since this boycott started.
Hannity did mention on his show yesterday that security would be plentiful, so I'll keep an eye out but anticipate everything should be fine.

Have fun and enjoy the show. Hannity is a good friend to freepers. Please ping me to your after-action report.
Have a very happy anniversary!
P.S. I'm from Monfort Heights and my sister lives just over the border in Indiana also.

Nate Livingston is basically a derelict here in the Cincy area who has gained notoriety by repeatedly calling in to local radio talk shows and spouting his racist diatribe.
For reasons I can't even remember now, a group of African-Americans called the "Black United Front" (brings up memories of Monty Python's Life of Brian) several years ago started an economic boycott of the city of Cincinnati. It has been a completely useless and ineffective boycott, but these people plug away anyway. I believe their biggest success was getting Smokey Robinson to cancel a Valentine's Day concert a year or 2 back. Rumor has it that tickets weren't selling to begin with and that Robinson was going to cancel anyway.
They are led by an individual named Rev. Damon Lynch, a real piece of work. They also have another high profile individual, named (I am not making this up) General Kubaka Aba (sp?) who runs around in a fake military outfit and get's thrown out of Cincinnati City Council meetings on a weekly basis.
For the most part, they are entertaining people.

I think the original economic boycott of Cincinnati started after the cops shot a black suspect. Can't remember the details.

I think you might be right. That was a sad, sad situation where if the individual had just obeyed the officer and stood still he would still be alive today.

...who runs around in a fake military outfit...I thought that was against the law; impersonating an American soldier.

I think it's more like one of those quasi-military outfits like the Nation of Islam types wear.
