As a FReeper Researcher, I have just come across a JAPANESE organization, based on an overseas JAPANESE website, in JAPANESE, that is encouraging foreigners to contribute money to and assist the "Campaign for American President Dennis Kucinich".
The URL of the activity was located at:
http://www.peace2001.org/
The organization is called "Global Peace Campaign" located in Japan. It is part of an umbrella of socialist and communist organizations opposing US efforts in Iraq, it supports North Korea, and is aligned with the usual communist movements.
The website has the invitation clearly written in Japanese, on the upper left side of the page, along with a link to the Kucinich campaign in the US, and a photo of the candidate. The organizers specifically solicit 500 Kucinich campaign contributors in Japan as a goal. Below are the comments in Japanese, translated by myself.

Keep it up AIT, Great Work.

I'm getting a creepy feeling. Like dirty hands on both sides. Which is why it is being ignored.
There is a local free paper, Free Times, that may take this up on their own. I'll check it out.

Well, one idea: who is the dude's fiercest primary election opponent, somebody who despises him and who is also fighting for the same field of votes? it should be given to them, too. let the 'interagency process' go to work, implode and burn up amongst the Dems.

thanks just the same, but I think i've done the lion's share for now. what i REALLY need! are Freepers to continue to keep this alive, phone the talk shows or send the thread to newspapers and demand coverage, and coordinate by private freepmail if necessary. all it would take is about five freepers around the country doing this constantly over the next week or so and it will grow legs. that's all i hope we can come up with at this point. thanks again.

Tom Coyne.
But it hasn't gotten that vitriolic yet.

For the Dems there's no governing legal authority for campaign finance laws.

I've forwarded this to 6 media outlets, and I am waiting for some type of response. I imagine they will verify it and follow it up before they run with it.
Its funny how democrats always seem to collect overseas donations ( Chinagate, etc) for their runs. Everything I have read in this site and found here points to the global anti-war group backing him with funding from at least 3 other countries, funneled through seemingly legitimate sources.
If this doesnt work, the next step is for someone here to actually file it and fade the media circus.
This needs to go out. Globalists are simply communist front organizations of organizations like the Workers World Party and the CP-USA. Kucinich is also a member of the House Progressive Caucus, which is about as far left as you can get.
My opinon is this goes deeper than just Japanese websites asking for campaign contributions for Dennis-san. I smell more.

I just saw the tail end of a report by Carl Cameron on Fox News Channel regarding campaign funds/"war chests". I heard him mention that Kucinich has such and such amount and still has a million in the bank, or something like that. Anyway, I emailed him regarding this thread, provided the URL and the opening statements of your post.
Carl is a very good reporter IMO and has done some decent investigative reports in the past. I told him you had done most of the preliminary investigation (good job!) and that this could be "nothing" (doubtful) or a BIG story. Hope he looks into it!

Buckeye bump. Does anyone know of a local talk show host or reporter who may be interested in this?

Not around here, unfortunately. Glenn Beck airs on 610 WTVN, but he's not local. We don't seem to HAVE any conservative radio announcers here in the Columbus area. Unless maybe the black dude that airs on Sunday evening before Drudge, and I can't for the life of me remember his name.

Cornell McCleary, for SURE. Sterling and Corby might, if they aren't busy promoting brats and golf tournaments :)
