Well, he wasn't interested in suicide by cops because he ran. Cavuto is reporting from the AP: Reports that police sources say that a plainclothes cop shot and killed the 2nd victim, the assailant.
But, they're also searching for the individual citywide. So, who knows? "disputed reports" per Neil Cavuto.

Othniel Bogz Askew is the 2nd victims name per WNBC.
He reportedly ran against Davis
Not necessarily.
It could be a different guy named Othniel Bogz Askew.

Cavuto saying AP is reporting 2nd dead may be the shooter...Neil emphasizes it is still not clear, details still coming in.
A plainclothes officer MAY have shot and killed the perp, who was/is the 2nd dead.
Leventhal reporting he heard that a city-wide APB is going on for the perp, too.

My goodness, will FNC just spend the money and hire someone to run their sound board? How many times today have they had full volume live feeds from 2 location running at the same time, with the background chatter drowning out the other speaker. Sheesh, what a tabloid joke they can be, all too often.

I appreciate your concern for facts versus speculation, but read some of Travis' threads. If he comments on something, it's a safe assumption he has researched it thoroughly (even if he is not right there at the time).

Neil says that shooting was caught on the City Hall Cameras

"Pretty good shooting. I've never shot a 9mm but I doubt I could be accurate from 75 feet."
75 feet isn't much at all, depending on the size of your target. A target the size of an adult's torso is not difficult to his at 75 feet, but a target the sixe of an apricot is. I routinely hit my mark (4" circle) with a .357 magnum revolver at 75 feet. Now, I'd likely have a problem with accuracy at that distance if I were firing a .454 Casul (that's one b*tch of a hand gun).

It will be a while before we know all the facts. It did sound like a greater distance at first.

You know, racial profiling.
If he was a white guy, we'd know his name, be parked outside his house and interviewing his neighbors.
I hope somebody posts the perp's picture when he is identified. Why does he deserve anonymity?

I came across this.
District 35
Incumbent: James E. Davis (Dem/WFP/Ind)
Challengers: Anthony L. Herbert (Dem)
Abraham E. Wasserman (Con)
So one of these two must have been killer.
It was definitely Wasserman. He is a con, after all.

What I'm gathering from reports is this:
A white guy, who is black or hispanic, shot Davis and somebody else, was then shot and killed by Davis, then he was shot and wounded by a plain clothes detective, then he escaped unharmed in the ensuing melee, and Bloomberg is reporting that democracy is dead.

All the while being dressed in both a blue and a cream colored suit, standing in the balcony and presumably on the floor with Davis.
