Talk about reading things the wrong way!! All I was trying to say is that no matter where you live or work or breath, its is not easy to put one in anothers place.
Yes maybe I did react a little too much as to Mr McGee's intent but this is not a cakewalk. As great as the NYPD is, they just don't go in and take the perps as easily as shown on netword dramas. That's all I meant.
As far as us "being special" by living in NY through the 9/11 terrorism, dude, you are one sicko to even put the two together!!

"The rest, as they say, is history: how Dan White took his .38 service revolver and..."I do... the Twinkie defense... Idiots in San Fran.

Given the population density in New York City, there is a much greater chance that in addition to one dead creep, you would also have a lot of innocent people killed or wounded in the line of fire.Yes, because only *bad* people can hit exactly what they aim at. Good people shouldn't use guns, too many people will get hurt.

That is a moronic statement.
To: PhiKapMom
then shep is wrong. reporters have to go through the metal detectors, every single time, even when going out front for a smoke.

Is this the guy that was an ex-cop?
Do cops patrol the metal detectors?
Not connecting dots...just asking questions.

Any word on how far the shooter was from Davis? Apparently Davis was struck twice in the chest. A person using a pistol would have to be a pretty good shot, I would think.

Thank you. The crawler left out the "attack on democracy" stuff which changes the meaning entirely. I HATE CRAWLERS.

Yeah, but the dems will be blaming the POTUS by next week. Everything's his fault, right?

DU is the place for you!No thank you. Please don't misunderstand: Although I know that every gun owning Freeper could hit and disable a moving target thirty yards away with one shot every time, NYC is something like 99% democrap/Rino. The reality of the situation is that not every law abiding citizen in NYC is capable of properly using a gun under fire, although most of them probably think they can. As a result, for every bad guy that goes down, there may be one or two good guys that go down with him. I bet when all is said and done, one or more of today's victims was maimed not by the bad guy, but by trained security guys who fired back.

I thought Bloomberg said it was an attack on democracy. That's what I heard

I'm not a big fan of them either. In fact it frosts me that they cover 25 to 33% of the screen with junk, so you can't even see the video completely.

They are now saying the shooter was Hispanic or a light skinned black!

What for, was it what you got as change for washing someones windshield?
No dude, We have a great view of Bryant Park in the civilized section of Manhattan. The Port Authority Bus Terminal is for people like you who use Greyhound to travel around the country.
To: Dog
This is what I thought when I first started reading it.
Did Davis and the guy have something planned, and the guy turned on Davis? Why else would he take the guy to a Council Chamber and rub his nose in it?
