16. Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier 'n puttin' it back.20. If you are ever lost in the woods, the quickest way to find your way out is to find a set of armadillo tracks. They'll lead you straight to the highway.

Kathy, I wish you'd stop posting these stories as EVERYONE knows that the US military can do NOTHING RIGHT. They are just big bad aggressors! My, they don't have a compassionate bone in their body. All they want is to "invade" and "conquer."((sarcasm off))
and I wish people would STOP using the word "invasion" when describing the liberation of the Iraqi people

Prof Engineer held down the fort while my son, my mother and I took a jaunt to Lake Jackson. We had a blast. The 4th was spent meeting a long lost cousin, and finding out about my great-greatgrandparents. After having some brisket, barbecue baked beans, and potato salad (and of course watermelon for dessert) for dinner, we sat in the front yard and watched the fireworks. Saturday we went to Galveston for the afternoon, and then to the Lake Theater in Lake Jackson for an evening show. It was a lot of fun, but I am glad to be home. What a drive!
