Good evening Canteeners, Troops, Vets, Allies

amd your families.

It is not a special date today.....

there is no special reason for writing....

I have no news to share

any problem to solve

or anything new to tell you

It is only one of those special moments...

I thought of you

And wanted to say that

Lot's of smiles, begin because of other smiles....

So Keep up your self esteem....

Have good friends and take care of them....

Take care of your body....

Just relax....

And if you have any boring person who wants to ruin your day

So here's A big....immense hug...straight from my heart to yours....

Thank you for the pictures, EMB. I agree with Kathy - it sure helps to know about the pictures when commentaries are included. Tom, Kathy, Radix and others have been doing an awesome job of keeping us here updated about our Troops.

That is one cool van. Is that just for display or is it for sale? Just curious.

It would be very useful come election time - like sending some kind of subliminal message to the people. LOL! I can just see the Dims having a cow. Maybe if they add an image of the President in a flight suit the Dims would surely have several cows. Mooooooooooooooooooo!

A man in Mississippi was going up to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. He opened the back door to go turn off
the light but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things. He phoned the police, who asked "Is someone in your house?" and he said no. Then they said that all patrols were busy, and that he should simply lock his door and an officer would be along
when available. the man said, "Okay," hung up, counted to 30, and phoned the police again. "Hello I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people in my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now cause I've just shot them all."
Then he hung up.

Within five minutes three police cars, an Armed Response unit, and an ambulance showed up at the mans residence. Of course, the police caught the burglars red-handed. One of the Policemen said to the
man: "I thought you said that you'd shot them!" The man said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"

"The same idiot who named the Rottweiler Jesus."

LOL!

Here's an oldie but a goodie

A country preacher decided to skip services one Sunday and head to the hills to do some bear hunting. As he rounded the corner on a perilous twist in the trail, he and a bear collided, sending him and his rifle tumbling down the mountainside. Before he knew it, his rifle went one way and he went the other, landing on a rock and breaking both legs. That was the good news.

The bad news was the ferocious bear was charging at him from a distance, and he couldn't move. "Oh, Lord," the preacher prayed, "I'm so sorry for skipping services today to come out here and hunt. Please forgive me and grant me just one wish: Please make a Christian out of that bear that's coming at me. Please, Lord!" That very instant the bear skidded to a halt, fell to its knees, clasped its paws together and began to pray aloud right at the preacher's feet: "Dear God, bless this food I am about to receive . . .
