Hey Sarge!! A little help here.....do you recognize the second picture at Post #133? As I was posting, the pictures changed and took their captions with them. They all go together, the marines coming home, but I'm not "seeing" this one.

A child reaches for the hand of a soldier in an Army tank in Fallujah on Wednesday.
That's a WHAT?!?
That, Folks, is an M998 HMMWV - a "Hummer" - in 4-passenger configuration. We call these, "Limo's".
This is what I drive when my unit cruises to the field.
Tank, indeed...

Holy roller: A runaway big rig left the 100-year-old Chapel of the Lake Church in Nagambie, Australia, semi-destroyed. No one was injured, thank God.

Well, lessee heah...
Since they're Marines, and the hatch positions are so close, and since I saw this vehicle featured on "Mail Call" the other night, I'd guess that's a Marine LAV. The guy hunkered down is the driver, and the other fella is the TC - "Track Commander", we call 'em.

Jinx, you're just drivin' me nuts out there, ya know?
Bisbee - combination artist colony, ghost town, tourist trap, hidden hideaway, all rolled into one. I fell in love with the place back in '85, and brought Missus around to my thinkin' in '89.
She still talks about wanting to go back.

Jumping through hoops is part of the plan: Police recruits leap through fire for the Palestinian Authority in Bethlehem, West Bank. It's part of their training in anticipation of the U.S.-backed "road map" peace plan.

I saw a comment the other day on an image that I posted. The comment referred to a 2 LT, when the person in the image was clearly an E-six or Staff Sergeant.
I am learning that the Army Times (where I get a lot of my images from on weekdays) is not run by Army types or Army veterans.
The Libs will use any method in order to pursuede us that they are just in their cause.
Here is a dose of reality, Liberalism is the dark side of the Force.

Great pic! The smoke behind the plane shows the airflow as the plane flies (interesting swirl patterns).

Thanks. And thank you for adding commentary. It's great when people can add insight to the pictures we see. I don't always understand what I am seeing. Keep commenting!
