Question:
I have not yet reached the age of puberty. Is it correct that a girl could get married before her menses start, or is that just a traditional myth?.
Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
Marriage to a young girl before she reaches puberty is permissible according to shareeah, and it was narrated that there was scholarly consensus on this point.
1 Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubt (about their periods), is three months; and for those who have no courses [(i.e. they are still immature) their Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise
[al-Talaaq 65:4]
In this verse we see that Allaah states that for those who do not menstruate because they are young and have not yet reached the age of puberty the iddah in the case of divorce is three months. This clearly indicates that it is permissible for a young girl who has not started her periods to marry.

Except Fred Phelps followers didn't kill 3000 people on 9/11. Phelps is a circus clown, not a theologian.
Perhaps I'd take you more seriously if you paid attention to such subtleties as context.
I'm not going to get argue with you about the stupid racist crap you're tossing out -- and that's precisely what it is.
Phelps is an idiot, but I also have no doubt he'd start stoning gays if he could. And if he could get 3000 at once....
Also one does not need to be Islamic to kill a bunch of people (though these days it certainly seems to be a good indicator of the willingness to do so). Most Islamic people are not a party to the terrorist acts. IMHO their culpability is pretty much the same as that of the general population of Nazi Germany.
He has not made one racist remark, re-read the thread.
I was responding to his post tarring hundreds of millions of Islamic people on the basis of a relatively few murderous extremists. In my book, that's racist crap.
Your sensibilites have watermark of having been polluted by the "dont want to face truth and hurt someones feelings crowd"...AKA Jesse Jackson, NEA, et al.
Maybe you should take your own advice and re-read what I posted.
He can. He can do it anytime he wants. But he doesn't.
Still waiting for that text.....
Ah. Didn't think of that possibility. I guess I misinterpreted the passage that said "she stayed with him for 9 more years."
Yup. As I said, I think it's a false religion. But it's not the only set of beliefs that produces mass murderers, and I do not think that most Muslims are anything like the nut-jobs who commit terrorist acts.
As I also said -- the general population of Islamic countries is about as culpable as the general population of Nazi Germany.
They do bear some responsibility for allowing the perpetrators of such atrocities to remain within their countries, but it's a sort of diffuse responsibility that does not justify the same sort of punishment that we'd mete out to the murderers who actually committed the acts.
Well, I suppose. Cultural norms, and all that -- but it's still sick in my book.
I've read someplace that the Koran has co-opted many Old Testament stories for its own purposes. Wonder if the "Child Bride" angle is one of them.
For example, the short history lesson up in #16 almost sounds like a combination of Esther and the (apocryphal) Book of Judith. In Esther, of course, the young girl marries the tyrant and thereby saves the Jews from the wiles of the evil henchman. Judith gets the tyrant drunk and cuts off his head.
Nonetheless, their religion supports the killing of non-believers. It's a classic cult ala Jim Jones.
IIRC, as "people of the Book," Christians and Jews are technically not supposed to be classified as "infidels." World history (e.g., the Muslim conquest and its consequence, the Crusades) made it convenient for the Mullahs to shift the definition to include them. And, tyrants being what they are, anything like that that keeps them in power is a Good Thing.
i am 45 and married to already 15 years now after the sexual desire of my woman has nearly gone i am looking to marry again. And i would like to marry a woman who is 12 years old, her father and she has also agreed, my first wife told me that it could make problems if it will be a big different in age, and also some of my children are older than my second wife. What is your advise ? And is it allowed for me to have already sexual intercourse with these woman after we are married or to i have to wait till she reach at special age ?
ANSWER: According to the Shariah, if a girl is a minor (did not attain puberty), she may be given in marriage by her father. When she attains puberty, she has the right to maintain the marriage or discontinue the marriage. There is no age limit to be intimate with ones wife even if she is a minor.
It is important for you, in your situation, to consider the age difference reservation expressed by your wife.

Muslims need to be tolerant of those who practice other faiths (and permit arabs to be hindus, Christians, jews, atheists, pagans, whatever they want). No differences of punishment for those who are non-muslim or additional taxes.
I hear that those who are islamofascists aren't "real" followers of islam. Why doesn't the Western muslim movement seek to erradicate islamofascism from within then?
There will be no peace in this world until they learn to coexist in this world and stop oppressing their women and children.
