Is it acceptable to marry a girl who has not yet started her menses? (Islam)
Islam Q & A ^ | 23 June 2003 | Answers supervised by Shaikh M. S. Al-Munajjid

Posted on 06/23/2003 8:32:57 AM PDT by Salman

Question:

I have not yet reached the age of puberty. Is it correct that a girl could get married before her menses start, or is that just a traditional myth?.

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

Firstly:

Marriage to a young girl before she reaches puberty is permissible according to sharee’ah, and it was narrated that there was scholarly consensus on this point.

1 – Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the ‘Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubt (about their periods), is three months; and for those who have no courses [(i.e. they are still immature) their ‘Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise”

[al-Talaaq 65:4]

In this verse we see that Allaah states that for those who do not menstruate – because they are young and have not yet reached the age of puberty – the ‘iddah in the case of divorce is three months. This clearly indicates that it is permissible for a young girl who has not started her periods to marry.

""Note: Homosexual sex is illegal in all Muslim states. There is no age of consent.

NICE dig!

They want us to accept the raping of young girls and not judge them, but they judge homos and ban them.

Or perhaps you can cite where I have mentioned race on this thread?

It's a pitiful straw man arguement to put forward a handful of our loonie tunes to balance hundreds of millions of murder-supporting Islamic maniacs.

You'll no doubt respond by saying "Islam is not a race, so this is not a racist statement."

OK, I'll concede the point before you even make it.

I will instead call it bigoted crap.

Feel better now?

Thank you for withdrawing your lying slur against me, telling the lie that I was putting forth "racist crap."

I guess it's a step up to be called a "bigot."

Would I be "bigoted" if I mentioned that the most fervent and dedicated Nazis supported the murder and genocide of their enemies?

Would I be "bigoted" if I mentioned that the most fervent and dedicated Muslims supported the murder and genocide of their enemies?

Nope. But you would be bigoted if you tarred the remaining Germans or Muslims with the same brush as the fanatics. Given that you did exactly that, then I guess you are, indeed, making bigoted statements.

Please now look at the posts I made to AppyPappy cocerning my thoughts about the general Muslim population.

Mohammed died when he was 60 or 61 which means that he deflowered the 9 year old when he was in his very early fifties. If that is any sign of virility among Muslims, then they are even more sorry individuals than I have been thinking.

Cleaning the nose is not the only "tidying up" issue the wonder about:

Here is another one from the Imam:

when sperm drys up? if the sperm in the clothes drys up then if someone who does not know that there is sperm in it then washes the clothes then will he/she have to perform ghusl.

I read from your site that when one has a wet dream and some of the sperm comes in contact with the bed then when the sperm drys up then if you then come into contact with it then we will not have to perform ghusl again.what about the clothes if the sperm in the clothes drys up then if someone who does not know that there is sperm in it then washes the clothes then will he/she have to perform ghusl.

Basically, one needs to understand that by any impurity coming in contact with one’s clothing, Ghusl does not necessarily become Waajib.

In the above case, Ghusl will not become Waajib except if sperm was ejaculated by that very person.

i understand he married her when she was six...

Correct, he married her when she was 6, but according to the quran and hadith, he waited 3 years before consumating the marriage.

She was also his favorite, and her name was Aishia (I know I misspelled that).

She was his last wife and the youngest by far.

IIRC, as "people of the Book," Christians and Jews are technically not supposed to be classified as "infidels." World history (e.g., the Muslim conquest and its consequence, the Crusades) made it convenient for the Mullahs to shift the definition to include them. And, tyrants being what they are, anything like that that keeps them in power is a Good Thing.

No, are wrong. Mohamed started out wanting to convert the Christans and Jews by being friendly to them and telling them of the errors of their ways (everybody else could be killed or en-slaved if they would not convert). By the end of his life he had changed his views on Christians and Jews because he saw that nothing he said would make them follow him. In the end he was calling for their death also. The koran contridicts itself over and over, this is why you have muslims who say that we are to be friends of the people of the book (never giving the full picure they really know(it is allowed to lie to non-muslims)), and other muslims who say kill them all.

The Crusades were started because muslim hords were killing whole communities of Christians. They did not shift islam, islam shifted the chruch.

I hear that those who are islamofascists aren't "real" followers of islam. Why doesn't the Western muslim movement seek to erradicate islamofascism from within then?

You hear that from people who want you to think well of islam(again muslims are allowed to lie to non-muslims). Islamofascist are the real followers of islam. Islam calls for the death of non-muslims, islamic governments and laws world wide. The true followers are to not stop their fight until this has happened. The sword on islamic countries flags speaks to this, conversion by the sword.

You can not change the fundamentals of islam, therfore you will always have large groups of these radicals.

ANSWER:Islam has ordered us Muslims to fight against the enemies of Islam and not be like the Jew and make other nations fight their wars. We as Muslims may share in Hitlers hatered for the Jews but we cannot praise him for the manner in which he went about killing the jews (if the history books are correct). But rather we as Muslims are governed by the Shariah which prohibit the killing the old and the weak etc.

"O Prophet! Make war against the unbelievers [all non-Muslims] and the hypocrites and be merciless against them. Their home is hell, an evil refuge indeed." (Koran, 9:73)

"When we decide to destroy a population, we send a definite order to them who have the good things in life and yet sin. So that Allah's word is proven true against them, then we destroy them utterly." (Koran, 17:16-17)

"In order that Allah may separate the pure from the impure, put all the impure ones [all non-Muslims] one on top of another in a heap and cast them into hell. They will have been the ones to have lost." (Koran, 8:37)

"How many were the populations we utterly destroyed because of their sins, setting up in their place other peoples." (Koran, 21:11)

Whatever it is, it apparently isn't as bad as "Waajib". No wonder we get the impression these people aren't doing much thinking for themselves. They have to ask iman about everything. They might as well be robots.

Germans or Muslims with the same brush as the fanatics

Nazism is to Germans as Islam is to Arabs. Not all Germans were Nazis and not all Nazis actually murdered the Jews. And some non-Germans became Nazis but it started with the Germans.

> But you just described many 12 year olds in this country.

I know, I know, twice as old as Mohammed liked 'em, almost a spinster, but we have to teach ourselves to appreciate mature women despite the green hair.
