There are some Freepers whose posts I looked forward to every day. They were wit filled and quite good reading. They have been banned in recent months (we keep in touch though). I am sure they violated the rules in some way at one point and thus were justified in being banned. Heck! I was "suspended" for 5 days last month.

But it seems to me and others that those Freepers being banned and who have been here a long time are against the war in Iraq? Am I wrong in this? Because I can name about a half dozen posters who have violated the religious and racial slur rule on this site who have not been banned when it comes to Islam.

Ronald won in "80" and we had what was to begin a twelve year run of splendor, however after he won in an "84" landslide. Conservatives fell back asleep.

Well, what was once eight to twelve years of awareness, has turned into mearly 4 years, and that with not one but two millitary victories. I do believe that GW will win in a landslide but freepers, like most conservatives, get bored when things go good.

If some of our old compadres have come full circle and are back, hopefully they will add their particular spice to the FR pot, and not just complain about the head cook and the soup.

I'm wondering though, does this mean than we can expect a string of lengthy "I'm leaving/I've been banned" posts again some time in the near future.

If I remember correctly, some of those goodbyes were considered by their authors as their most creative postings.
