THOUSANDS TO PROTEST BUSH ATTACK ON MUSLIMS, IMMIGRANTS, CIVIL RIGHTS, AND CIVIL LIBERTIES

(Washington, DC) -- Thousands are expected to come to the nation's capital on May 24th to protest the Bush-Ashcroft policy of discrimination and persecution of Muslims and immigrants, and its blatant attack on the civil rights and civil liberties and domestic and international tranquility. The march and rally, called Muslim Solidarity Day for Justice and peace, sponsored by Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, America's largest Muslim grassroots organization, will commence at 12 noon at The Ellipse across from the White House.

The group will be joined by many peace, justice, religious and civil rights organizations and will include speakers such as Brian Becker (International Action Center), Congressman John Conyers, Rev. Al Sharpton, Imam Siraj Wahaj, Dr. Jamal Badawi, Zaid Shaker, Mara Verheyden-Hillard (A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition), and Mahdi Bray, President of MAS Freedom.

According to Bray, "The recent barbaric and illegal invasion of Iraq has emboldened the Bush administration in its actions to target the Muslim and immigrant community and to violate the rights of Muslims, immigrants, and all Americans with impunity. We must continue to forge a coalition of conscience to resist the Bush administration's belligerent and destructive policy which is the greatest impediment to global peace today."

First let me say that on your homepage.. this quote by you actually made me smell the smell again. "The odor of moth balls, insect repellant, lubricants, and waterproofed canvas all mingled together." I admit I was really surprized when those words by you provoked such vivd memories.. WITH SMELL!! Not bad memories.. just a memory I had forgotten. The way you stated it, actually took me back to basic training, and getting our uniforms. That was amazing!

Secondly and more on topic, Internation A.N.S.W.E.R. and Workers World Party (along with the rest) have been exposed after having pulled off huge massive world wide rallies, (and very successful rallies at the time). BUT, once word got out about their anarchist beliefs, and communist affiliations, people STOPPED going to their rallies. Some really good decent people "unwittingly" supported these people by attending their rallies. But once they went, they were soon educated as to their real purpose. There was a constant decline in attendance..and you can't even get those same good decent people, to ADMIT they attended those rallies.

In DC recently, a very much bragged about rallie (not unlike this one) was a total bust.

The busses were arranged, the hotel discounts given, reservations made, the porta potties rented, and it yet it fizzled out.

They should be watched, and we should continue to educate the general public about their agenda.. but I won't be surprized if this rally fizzles out too.

If it does.. then all the e-mails sent out to everyone in our e-mail address books, will have PROVEN to have done the job. (I'm using the word "our" collectively). KNOWLEDGE IS KING.

We need to continue to be vigilant in educating people about WHO these people are and WHAT their AGENDA is.

We need to expose these groups. They are enemies and are using our own basic freedoms to their advantage to be against us. Then they add insult to injury by using our TAX laws to their benefit too.

They figured they could "bring us down" by utilizing America's generosity and freedoms in this manner. What they didn't realize.. was that FREE SPEECH would also prevail in exposing them for WHO they are!!

Anyway.. it will be interesting to watch these scumbags.

Let them march. I read somewhere that the radical islamists feel once they have a large enough following anywhere they can then use force and terror to take over. They at that point would start meeting "real" Americans.
