Or was it the look of a president saying thank you with his heart?Yes! And the looks of respect for and pride in the "you're welcome" to their Commander in Chief!

Did Klintoon REALLY forget to take off the lens caps or is this an altered photo? (One of my sisters says it's a hoax photo, so I'd like to know the truth.)

"Did Klintoon REALLY forget to take off the lens caps or is this an altered photo? So now you know the truth.
But it sure is fun thinking it is real. ;-)

Is that picture genuine, or photo-shopped. It's been on other threads. Did Byrd really pose for that shot?

Yes, it is byrd, when he was a KKK grand wizard or something like thast. I've seen several photos of the same photo but from different sites on the internet. In fact, I don't have that photo uploaded to my site. I just linked to it from someone elses site.

"
One thing that really stands out in most of the pictures that have been shown is the laughter and smiles on the faces of our troops around G.W.---------"That is the one thing that always comes to mind when I think about President Bush on that Carrier ------the happy smiles of ALL the naval personel, both close to him, mugging for the camera, AND all those in the background. President Bush is showing his warmth and comfort and delight to be with them all, and they all return it.
Clinton's pictures lack all of that. There may be one or a few smiling for the camera, but look at those in the background.
No wonder the Dems are so upset. HEEHEE!

According to
snopes.com (one of the best sites for checking out "urban legends"), it has not yet been determined whether the picture has been doctored or not. There is a very objective discussion of those comparison pictures of the two Presidents with binoculars.

It is not an altered photo. The lenscaps were on--I saw the news clip. The 'Rhodes scholar' held up the binoculars only for a photo op and not to see where they were pointed.

Thanks for the link kayak.
I thought I had read that it was debunked.
I guess it will remain maybe it was and maybe it wasn't.
With the technology today you can't even trust what you see.
