One Democrat moaned yesterday as he watched the cable news programs replay hours of footage of President Bush on the carrier with audio about Democratic complaints.
'Im watching him get high fived and buzz the tower again,' the Democrat said. 'The White House should have thought of this controversy themselves!'
Democratic questions about Bush's jet landing made the front page of USA Today complete with the 'Fly Boy' photo that will have Mike Deaver smiling.
Along these lines, a Senior Administration Official told the ABC Political Unit 'The more time the President talks about defense and security issues, the more he hurts Democrats and reinforces the public's positive perceptions of the Presdient.'
'Do it again, do it again is our message to Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia.'
The Democrats are doing things to make their base happy, but alienating the center of the electorate.

Now, now. Let's not bash the old Wizard too hard here.I don't believe Senator Byrd ever attained the rank of "Wizard". I'm not even sure if he became an "Exalted Cyclops".

President Bush has been bitch slapping the hell out of the Democrats - and his hands have never left his side...
The more Presidential and successful he is - the more impotent and disparaging the mealy mouthed leftist bastards become.. They have become more than ridiculas..
The Democrats are now seen as a collection of leaches, malcontents, America haters, power seekers and just plain old assholes.......so pre 9/11.
You just gotta love the Pres.....He's da MAN!

"The libs sure do love to pretend that they know about the Military and sympathize with the 'working people..'" If they were REALLY for the working people they wouldn't try to take all the working peoples' money to finance all the non-working people.

"I think they actually LOVE their CinC, and were PROUD that he flew in to say thanks to them for their sacrifice" I think that pretty well sums it up. The RATs are all sour grapes. Chasing crow with vinegar will do that to you.
