I'd like to get about 4 or 5 beers down Col. Hunt. The resulting war stories I'd likely get would be worth a tanker truck full of brewskis.

He would have to speak in complete sentences and learn to inunciate first.
I like him very much, but I can't just listen to him. I have to watch and listen to him to understand what he is saying sometimes.

But, we really, REALLY need to somehow encourage Fox News to get into the radio game. Fox News Radio exists. You just need to get a local station to carry it.

Have you seen him on Fox lately? He's been on CNN for months.

Should the show be "Hunt with Fox"? or The Fox's Hunt?

I didn't know that. We've got a struggling channel that plays both O'Reilly and Colmes, but they go with the ABC news feed. If they'd pick up Fox News, I bet you'd see their fortunes turn around considerably. As it is, I'm ready to abandon my Rush station and listen to him live over the internet.

I get it now. Sorry, my mind was still on a certain bouncing correspondent.
I can't blame you. My mind is right there with yours! Well, in a manner of speaking. ;)

It was Kelly Ford www.kellyford.us
He is a good-looking guy - I thought it sounded like a girl, too. I tried to purchase the CD, but every time I got to step #3, it flipped back to Step #1. I haven't
checked O'Reilly's site to see if I can order there.

...I like General MacInerny, as well, because he sort of reminds me of Colonel Potter on MASH (the actor, Harry Morgan). Thank you, thank you, thank you.
It's been driving me nuts trying to recall just who he reminded me of so much. You nailed it.

Thank you for this informative post, Paul.
I have wondered about his background.
Most of us know that for the most part it isn't the generals or admirals who have the brains, the real cache of wisdom and knowledge resides in Colonels and Commanders.
Dave Hunt is remarkable functioning as he has. Leaves you thinking you have been well informed. That serves Fox very well.
If I had to choose one female it would be Linda Vester.

Fox News updates at the top of the hour on radio DO exist. My local radio station switched from ABC to FOX about 1 month ago. During the heavy fighting in Iraq, my radio station, www.570kvi.com just plugged right into FOX for the coverage. During the Afghanistan battle, I was stuck listening to ABC. (barf)
My radio host said FOX has had a "top of the hour" radio news service for about a year or longer, but it wasn't that good. I guess they just became good recently.
Start lobbying your radio station.
To: ConservativeMan55
After the war, they could have an "armchair generals" hour on FOX News, where they just talk about strategy and blow stuff up.
