U.S. Brigadier General Vincent Brooks holds up a pack of playing cards with pictures on each of Iraqis most wanted by the U.S., April 11, 2003. The deck will be issued to troops to help them remember the faces of personalities they can 'pursue, capture or kill.'
A portrait of Imam Hussein, the inspiration behind Shi'ite Islam, hangs for the first time in decades in the Kazimain district of Baghdad April 11, 2004. During the more than 20-year rule of Saddam Hussein, hanging a picture other than the Iraqi leader in public was forbidden.
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
-- C.S. Lewis
Looks like there's 52 jokers in that deck.
PRETTY DAMN KWIK!
