My TV watching is tracked and I keep it on Fox as much as possible. I love Fox and Friends and miss Mancow.

Anyone who gives Chris Matthews and Phil Donahue their own shows deserves NO respect.

That may be, and for good reason.
I'm going to say something here that would have been considered blasphemy when Greta was first hired.
I think I like her show the best of their entire lineup.
That doesn't mean I don't enjoy the others--Shep Smith comes in a close second--but when her show comes on I know I'm going to get nearly-uninterrupted INFORMATION.
She always has fabulous guests who know their stuff, she always asks to-the-point questions, and she NEVER gets in the way. She is NEVER the star.
One "advantage" I have over many others here is that I've NEVER been a news-junkie before. I always got my news from the newspaper and from books, never from network television. For the past ten years I have counted on Rush Limbaugh for news. For the past five, Free Republic.
Even after I got Fox News on Dish, I didn't watch it because I "knew" that it would contain people I didn't want to hear from.
I began watching Fox, finally, on 9/11, and I have pretty much stuck with it ever since. I even enjoy Hannity and Colmes, which I never would have expected (because I thought it would be just another "screaming face" show like the old CNN "Crossfire" which I never enjoyed).
Even Alan Colmes comes up with some good stuff now and again, is respectful to guests (probably even more than Hannity is), and challenges them to get their facts straight. I respect Alan enough that I'll even listen to his radio program if I happen to be in the car of an evening.
I never watched Greta when she was on CNN, so I had no opinion save what others here would say (and that was uniformly negative; when she was hired, many people here "lost it," almost as much as they did when Geraldo came aboard).
But I repeat: I enjoy Greta's show very, very much, and I don't mind saying it. Kudos to her and props to Fox for hiring her.

Rita would never have mentioned that had she not been okay'd to do so.

Aren't they sort of pushing on the networks, with their Fox affiliates?
How long before Fox News is doing a regular national telecast?

Read my own screed below yours.
I agree. Greta's show is my favorite. I always learn something, and she NEVER gets in the way of the show.

Me, too. I hope he comes back after the
war coverage eases. The first time I ever
watched F&F, I heard Mancow say that
Clinton was a traitor. That's when I knew
I had found a home!

Rita Crosby is the ONLY Fox person that I do not care for. IMHO, I feel she is a terrible interviewer. I'll never forget that grave error she made when the Order of the Supreme Court came out about the Florida election -- she said that it favored Gore, when she was wrong. And, also, as you mentioned, her speaking about the Jaguar system -- another grave error -- she should know better. But most of all, I don't enjoy her voice. I wish Fox would replace her.

You do understand why Fox & Friends won the ratings war in this particular week, don't you?
It's the Freepers' fault!

Quite the contrary. The next morning on Fox, another reported was talking about the intercept and said something to the effect of "what we are allowed to say." Rita was clearl wrong. No other reporter from any other mentioned mentioned the Jaguar except Rita.

I have been getting up EARLY (5 - 5:30am) for a few years now in California, just to catch the last 30-60 minutes of F&F. They are great!

I was in a hotel the other day, with no FNC. Decided to flip on CBS. I had not seen Hannah Storm in awhile. Holy cow. She has gone Calista Flockhart. You would be able to see her bones if you held a big flashlight behind her. She must spend a lot of time leaning over the pot purging herself.

Hah, hah. You remember her flouncing that too?
Remember who got it right first?
Dan Abrams of MSNBC-- who is actually a pretty good guy and would be a good fit with Fox.
To: Warhead W-88
You're so right. Rita makes mistakes (i.e., the Jaguar) by trying to be first.
