Please extend to the family the gratitude the people on this forum feel for Cpl. Randal Kent Rosacker and his sacrifice. We pray for God to surround and enfold his entire family as they adjust to the loss of this brave young man. We ask our heavenly Father to take him directly to Heaven, to give him rest, and to let him know of our high regard for his service to the Holy Cause of Freedom. We know that words of thanks are utterly inadequate to discharge the debt of gratitude we have for this young man and his family, but we nevertheless hope that these words will be accepted because it is the means we have at our disposal to express our love and concern. God bless this family and Randal's loved ones.

Bumping with prayers for comfort for his family. I hope they know his life was not given in vain.. and how much we all honor his sacrifice. Wish we could just hold his family in our arms and rock them gently.. wish we could make it not true.
But we will have to leave the comforting to our Father in heaven..and hope the family FEELS our prayers.

Heavenly Father, With tears in my eyes and sorrow in my heart I ask you to be merciful and bring comfort to Randal*s loved ones. Give them the strength to make it through the difficult days ahead. Randal gave his life in service to our country, and for that, I will be forever thankful.
I ask you to bring comfort and strength to the families of all the other soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice in this war. Lord, please have mercy on the souls of the departed, and protect those who are still in harms way.
Father, I ask you to protect the innocent civilians in this war, and I ask you to bring your wrath against the enemies of the Cross. Confuse the enemy and cause them to make mistakes that will lead us to Saddam, his sons and to the ruthless murderers who do his evil works. Then cause all of his troops to surrender.
Show them that YOU alone are God and that "Allah" is just another nickname for satan! May YOUR name be glorified in and through all things. In Jesus name I pray!! Amen!
Budge, thanks for the ping. ;-)

Dear Lord,
I cry for the loss of this precious life. We thank you for his service, and that of all his comrades. Please bring them home with you. Lord, we beg that you help make this battle as brief as possible, and the lives it demands as few as possible, as we pursue justice and peace for the good people of Iraq. Amen.
