March 25, 2003 -- WASHINGTON - Captured thug Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has revealed that the al Qaeda terrorists who plotted the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks have as many as two-dozen more terror plans already in motion against U.S. and Israeli interests, it was reported yesterday.

Second, we are not in a war with Islam. We are in a war with radical Islam. If Islam were the enemy, then we would be at war with billions of people.

Most of the worlds 1 billion Muslims have not committed any violent acts torwards us and most of these same 1 billion Muslims never will.

God bless our troups right now who are not seated comfortably in front of a warm glowing monitor and who are instead fighting sandstorms and the evil regime in Iraq.

We must NEVER assign our troups the the task of fighting 1 billion Muslims unless it is absolutely required.

In fact, the attitude on the Muslim street, especially from those who have felt the liberty brought by Americans, is much more favorable than that felt by Christian Europeans.

I don't see reson to agree with this, even considering the meanings of words that I'd guess you're using. As for the meaning of what it means to be a Muslim and Christian, my perspective is that there is one Judge of such things, and He has defined what being a Christian truly is, in the New Testament. There will be many who will call Him, "Lord, Lord," to which He warns He will say, "Depart from me. I never knew you."

Am I the only one who thinks we're probably at war with someone else who is only using 'islam' as a 3rd party contractor, or am I just way too paranoid?

No and no again.

IMO, stronger forces than Sadaam are keeping the Iraqi resistance going.

"Last week, the FBI put out an urgent alert for Adman El Shukrijumah, a 27-year-old Saudi student who had pilot training and attended college in south Florida. Mohammed led the agents to Shukrijumah, who is considered a potential field conductor on the level of Mohamed Atta, the ringleader of the Sept. 11 hijack team. Shukrijumah hasn't been located, but he is believed to be associated with José Padilla, the American al Qaeda operative being held as an "enemy combatant" after he was arrested in the United States scouting for a dirty-bomb attack, officials said. " ----- http://www.fbi.gov/pressrel/pressrel03/mueller032003.htm El Shukrijumah carries a Guyana passport, but may attempt to enter the U.S. with a Saudi, Canadian, or Trinidad passport as well. El Shukrijumah has gone by the following aliases: Adnan G. El Shukri Jumah; Abu Arif; Ja'far Al-Tayar; Jaffar Al-Tayyar; Jafar Tayar; Jaafar Al-Tayyar

It's not hard to be stronger than a corpse. ;-) If you're talking about "the prince of the power of the air," I think you're on to something.

what is 1% of a Billion?

1,000,000,000/100 = 1,000,000

thats only if 1% are the enemy

We already know more than that hate us in Iran alone.

We had better trust God this time.

Which brings to mind: Where is the massive prayer calls like we had 12 years ago??

I can't find a news link for it, but I heard on a Bay Area radio station this evening that three "men" were arrested after "filming traffic for a college project" on the Bay Bridge last night. Apparently there are infrared cameras that detect movement even at night on the Bay Bridge and picked up these guys. No ethnicity mentioned...

Like we couldn't figure out that NYC was a prime target. Duh! Let's see, economic hub of the nation, most vulnerable because Manhattan is an island connected by bridges and tunnels, and boasts the largest concentration of Jews on the planet, except for Al-Queda's much beloved Israel.

The confession must have been jaw-dropping!

In an English accent: I'm stunned, I tell ya. And astonished!

Nissan is mostly French owned now. Don't buy one. Get a Toyota, BTW.

We are, but we are not. I hope that clears things up.

Yep, what that means is that we are in a war with you know who, but don't say it out loud, because the FBI will be knocking on your door wondering why you are dissing the religion of peace.

"We're in the beginning of a long period of "21st Century warfare" with Islamism. The sooner the politicians and media deal with this soberly and justly, the better."

I think the "coalition of the willing" is presently doing so.

From the outset, Bush indicated a grasp of the magnitude of the threat, even though many were disappointed that he didn't just point the finger at ALL of Islam.

It will fall to Islam, to in effect "self-declare" by actions, if the threat is something less than ALL of Islam, or the whole bunch of them.

If the thrashing of the radicals is severe enough, perhaps the remainder will decide that being "peaceful and tolerant" is the means to surviving.

By that I mean individuals and nations.
