'US SOLDIER ATTACKS TROOPS' [unsanitized discussion of MUSLIM treason suspect]

'US SOLDIER ATTACKS TROOPS'

An American Muslim soldier is understood to have carried out a grenade attack on a US military camp which injured 16 soldiers.

A second man, who is not a soldier, is thought to be held.

Three grenades were rolled into three tents housing military leaders of the 101st Airborne Division Saturday night at Camp Pennsylvania, home of the, near the Iraqi border, said Sky correspondent Stuart Ramsay, who is in the base.

The grenade that was rolled into the first tent, where the commanding officer sleeps, did not go off.

But two other grenades used to attack tents where the unit's majors and captains sleep did explode.

'Acting weird'

Ramsay watched as the suspects were held.

"Two men are being held, one of which is a Muslim soldier who is an engineer," Ramsay said.

"It appears he was hiding in a barrack where the attacks happened. A second man, who we believe is not an American soldier, is being held by the military.

"As the man who carried out the attack moved away there was some shooting. He was shot in the leg. He was held on the ground less than 100 yards from where the attack happened."

He said fears about the Muslim soldier's behaviour had been raised in recent days by colleagues.

Interrogation

"In recent days they were concerned about his behaviour and were not going to send him up to the front when the soldiers were going to be deployed."

It is not clear whether the soldier, who Ramsay said would have been in the Gulf for some weeks, had planned the attack before being deployed.

"To be honest we just do not know," Ramsay said.

"Talking to other soldiers, it could be that he was disgruntled. They said he had been acting 'weird' for days."

Eleven soldiers who were seriously hurt were flown out of the camp by helicopter.

Do you know about Islam? Please answer this (not an attack, honest inquery)

If Islam requires the following of Shariah over government law, then how can Muslims ignore Fatwas that are signed off from Imaan? High level Imaan from all the different Muslim religions signed off on the Fatwas to kill Jews and the West. So how can any Muslim be trusted?

Can you be Muslim and not follow Fatwas or Shariah?

Now I am curious of the odd behavior. If I am in special forces, or even regular infantry and I noticed "odd" behavior from one of my brother soldiers, I'd report it.

Fox: Fair, Balanced, & Unafraid reports that Wahabi Ministers are Chaplains and may be radicalizing the soldier faithful. That 9 of 13 Muslim Army chaplains are Wahabi.

Sounds like the same problem that's showing up in our prison system...Wahabi Clerics on the Dept of Corrections payrolls. Unreal, huh?

What about all the Muslim soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces? Please don't tell me that they are death to Israel.

Wherever Muslims become the majority the country turns undemocratic, run by tyrants who have no respect for the rule of law or the rights of individuals. Not all Muslims may express or believe in jihad, but a significant minority does... and they consistently grab the reigns of power when there's enough of them. That spells death as far as I'm concerned.

"I am not sure if he was born an American, whether his parents were American, whether his parents were Muslim, whether his brand of Islam is one of the conventional Arabic kinds or whether it's Farrakhan style"

It is my understanding that Arab Muslims sometimes get their American citizenship by agreeing to serve in the armed forces. If true, it is a policy steeped in ignorance in my opinion.

Inter all muslim soldiers, sailors and airmen NOW!

Roger that. They've infiltrated the f'in Army, for crying out loud! Deport all of them now. This war will be over when the religion of peace is but a fading memory.

You know what? I've very curious about your post now. Can you support your statement about Muslims being in IDF? Cause I was once engaged to an Israeli soldier. He was not allowed to marry me unless I converted. So, this makes me curious about being Muslim and belonging to IDF. See, if he was not allowed to marry me unless I converted...this tells me that Israel has some pretty strict rules. How can you become an IDF if you are not a Jewish/Israeli national?

I can imagine the odd behavior. I've seen it prior to attacks.

Out of over 1/4 million people involved, one is a nut-case that actually acts out. Considering the stress of the situation, I do not find it terribly unusual that one would crack. This is likely someone would have cracked at some point, no matter what their situation (i.e. in the military or not).
There is also no solid info on whether his being Muslim was a factor either. There is a great deal of misinformation and speculation being reported all over. The only report I give any weight is the Sky News report, since that reporter is at the scene.

Me, too. Chaplain Major L.K. with the 101st is on my mind, too. If we get a list of the injured, please ping me.

I just sent an email to his private email, and hope to get a reply, although I expect he has much greater priorities right now.

Can you be Muslim and not follow Fatwas or Shariah?

Yes, the same way I can be Jewish and yet have eaten a non-kosher chicken tonight. Most world Muslims are not all that observant. Beyond that, Fatwas are issued by individual Muslim religious leaders and thus commonly contradict other Fatwas. As for Shariah, instituting this is highly controversial even in countries like Turkey which is quite close to 100% Muslim.

And even some strictly observant American Muslims are patriotic. Check out:

Go here Comment on War Against Islam. and read post number 25. Many here, including myself, have tried to tell people that this is a war against Islam. It IS a war against Islam. Anyone who practices that religion is going to have to be deported from the U.S. If deportations to not take place, we will face violence for years to come. Absolutely no doubt about it.

I don't know where you are from. But in the 70's there was an extreme influx of Mid East women that somehow got here 'just to have their babies'. I'm from the tristate area and remember that. Mostly, ironically, women from Saudi. They came here, had their babies, and rushed birth certificates. Then went back to the Mid East.

All Muslims should be barred from the US military, for this guy was following Islam, by killing the infidels, and the Quran has told him not to make friends of Christians and Jews. He was following his religion, but an example should be made of him to show what happens when you are a traitor to your own country.

That there is the connection to the fatwah in Cairo. it is BS to suggest "fragging" or "hot fuse" -- which is what they are speculating about on the news because they are not yet able to report the story --ie what they already know and are being held back on. The embedded reporter from CNN clearly said he knew a lot more than he could say == that a regular reporter would report more but he couldnt --given the rules of being embedded.

And therein lies the rub. All the networks I've heard today are spinning this as a lone loose cannon who "lost it" in the heat of battle. What do you bet they've been given some friendly persuasion by some PC public affairs officer that they better fall in to line or lose their gravy train "embedded" reporters.

Anyone still think this war is not against Islam? How does any American fighting man conduct himself from this point foward without having to watch his back. All courtesy of the religion of peace.
