Did anyone see CBS's "The Early Show" this morning (about 8:15 a.m. CST) when to my horror Harry Smith interviewed Tom Dashcle and asked him:
Smith: (words to the effect) "Senator Dashcle, what is your response to people who have criticized you for what you said about President Bush and the war on Iraq?"
Dashcle: mumbles something about how his opponents want to squelch his right of free speech and then says: "It's time to put that behind us and MOVE ON." !!!!!
Did anyone else see this? Were you as disgusted and outraged as I was?
Harry Smith is just as culpable as Dashcle for this deceptive and insipid interview.
The correct question to ask would have been, "Senator Dashcle, in light of your criticism of President Bush, blaming him for the war in Iraq, would you like to clarify or amend your previous comments?"
Instead, Harry Smith blames the heat Dashcle's taken on the people who disagree with him, accusing his opponents of trying to stifle Dashcle's right of free speech!
MORE enraging is Dashcle's statement, "Time to put it behind us and move on."

That may be a tad bit too harsh-the good citizens of South Dakota should just vote the weasel out of office and send Congressman John Thune to the Senante in his place.
...But yes, he is pathetic, as most Democrats are.

Bill Kristol this morning said that Dasshole is retreating faster than the Iraqi military.
The lady moderator asked some very pointed questions and the weasel looked baaaad!!

The anti-American leftists just LOVE to talk about
people "squelching their first amendment rights",
while scheming to silence Rush Limbaugh and talk radio.
As usual, their hypocrisy is limitless. Personally,
I hope la petit Daschle keeps right on exercising his right
to make an ass of himself.
The global political left is WAAAY out on a limb,
and the President from Texas is holding a chainsaw.

Its the DNC talking point. Now that we were right and they were wrong, its time to move on to the next criticism they want to berate upon the conservatives.
Its all about getting the DNC back into power.

Last night I was watching Charlie Rose and he had Joe Biden (plagiarist) and Gary Hart (womanizer) and it seems to me the Dems are resigning themselves to the fact that the war is going well - now they are betting on a terrorist attack. Both, argued we shouldn't have attacked Iraq until there was no chance we would be hit at home by terrorism. In essence they are politically betting that we will suffer an attack.
Now I don't disagree that we may be hit, but the way the Democrats keep positioning themselves on the bet that bad things are going to happen to us is contemptible.

I DON'T GIVE A CRAP!!! Little Tommy dirtwad is more irrelevant than Blix. For Christ's sake put this worthless little mama's boy in his proper status of Senate MINORITY Leader and IGNORE him!! He's out there running his mouth ON PURPOSE because it's easy for him to get air time!!! He's right, MOVE ON!!! He's not the issue nor worth the anger effort. He's an obstructionist pud who lost his status and should be treated that way. Just because the media won't, doesn't mean we have to help them.
We should DEMAND that Hitlery get on TV and outline her positions and explain herself and PUBLICLY GET HER ON RECORD!!!!!!!!! Everything she is saying right now is under the radar but going on record. Little Toby dip-spit
is doing nothing but providing Bitchlery cover... When will we wake up??? ...and that's the end of that rant...

I really wish to tell my boss off and claim free speech.

Democrats will understand what Shock and Awe is during the 2004 elections. Quote of the day.

As I noted in a previous post, most Democrats are pathetic-
...These two, along with the host, as well as the majority of the Media, are beneath comtempt. What they want more than anything is to tell America, "See, you should have not let the Supreme Court get away with handing the election over to this trigger-happy cowboy. We are your best and only hope for a war-free and peaceful utopia, where everyone is taxed up the whazoo, and we all have Hillary care and socialist uptopia." They're all chomping at the bit, believe me.

Daschle has been doing the apology tour on the morning shows -- the easiest and least challenging of all the news media interviews (E.D. Hill on Fox & Friends).
Carl Levin was following in little Tommy D's steps but he was really reluctant to really admitting the error of his ways (he voted against the Amendment last fall endorsing the use of force against Saddam) -- he kept slipping back to "the UN didn't approve of our action" or something like that. I'm waiting for the plea: "Can't we all just get along?!!!!!!!"
To: dubyaismypresident
Hey, I for one am not the slightest bit agitated at daschle.
I will be extraordinarily agitated, if his Campaign manager does not Run his "saddened and disappointed" quote non stop, until Dasshole is a Private Citizen.

So what if we are hit domestically by terrorists? I think that's a positive thing in the big picture.
The terrorists are here. They plan, acquire, travel, recruit, and imbed themselves into our fabric. They are homogonous in America. When they act out, at least we deal with them.
Ignoring a terrorist does not mean they are not there! If this campaign smokes em out of their holes for targeting purposes, I think that's a good thing.
To not do what's right because a few hundred people who are in this country will strike out is exactly what fosters terrorism. Let's draw those few hundred out of hiding and send a message to any more who might want to come play Jihad on our turf.
