I can't believe Hannity is allowing Col Hackworth (Ret) to run down the Active Duty Military again. Talking about some devective "protective gear", if you get my drift. Why would he continue to spew out all this crap that will be swollowed up by our enemies? Why doesn't Hannity get the story from the Active Duty people? If there really is a problem, why give the info to our enemy?????

Am I being too critical of Hackworth and his "whiners"? It seems like Hackworth has put it into high gear, now that his Anti-War buddy Ritter is out of sight now.

I agree with you. Hackworth is not even close to what I thought he was and why Hannity has him on as the expert is beyond me. Anyone can email Hackworth and he takes it for fact it seems.

Last Friday morning, on Fox and Friends, Brian K. was interviewing our troops and demonstrating the chem mask and outfit....didn't look to the audience that there was any shortages of equipment.....even if there were shortages of military gear ...we all know who is at fault --- the Clintons!

Hackworth is about 2 or 3 wars behind.
I think Hack hates them 'cause they wouldn't let him be a general.
I admire his support of the common soldier, though.

I believe that Hack was a good man at one time, he is a little bitter sounding now.

Hackworth is about 2 or 3 wars behindHe's definitely caught in a time warp. I get itchy and scratchy when he refers to men as 'cats'

I listen to Michael Medved during Hannity's time slot, he tries to get the most authoritative guests unless he's debunking liberals. Hackworth is wrong and annoying.
To: W04Man
Hackworth reminds me of Arianna Huffington. Two of a kind.
Years back, they both had credibility with conservatives...before they were found out!
I don't care to hear Hackworth anymore. Every time he talks he is downgrading our military, under the disguise that he is only trying to help them.
His "15 Minutes" of Fame are over with me. Now I put him in the same junkpile as Clinton/Wesley Clark/Albright. All LOSERS...
Sean Hannity has about run out of his 15 minutes too. He doesn't fight hard enough for conservative causes.
To: W04Man
Hack's beyond the pale - he'd have to significantly improve to get to where he'd be useless. IMO he's sour and ticked that he never got flag rank. A caterwauling, vengeful reprobate... Couldn't care less how many snakes he's eaten, or if he collected any ears.

Before the first Gulf war Hackworth predicted 50,000 casualties.

I just caught Hack on the net with Hannity. I think Hannity kept it peaceful agreeing that our chemical suits are not good and not enough. Sean kept the wack job in bay. Hack said that he has said this repeatedly over the years. That could be true.
Remember, Sean has to have both sides on his show for ratings and today is a BIG day with everyone at home. Sean did good, as usual.

Hackworth is wrong and annoying. and dangerous. this is not the time for an "authority" to be muckraking, and undermining our troops' morale.

Talking about some devective "protective gear"
Hack is not the only one talking about this. Last week there was some other talking head one of the cable stations talking about it, and Christopher Shay (R) Connecticut was on a different cable news show talking about it. It drew my attention and I just froze in my seat due to my son being in the army (NBC department) and will be leaving shortly to go overseas. Christopher Shay said that he had contacted the DOD and would be following up on it.

I agree... Hack is a man with a grudge! He is a cry baby and it is all about him not being involved. He kept saying on Hannity that his informants from the Pentagon had told him..... YEA RIGHT..... this is the tighest lipped Admin in a long time....and I think Hannity needs to give Hack the axe.

I really like Sean, I just don't see why he doesn't get someone more credible on his show than Hackworth. I listen to Sean every day. In fact, except for him and Rush, I can't listen to the radio at all. Those are my 6 hours of radio a day.

They've been harping on the defective MOP suit thing for a number of years now.
I wonder if they really don't mean to say "inadequate."
A new generation of soliders requires a uniform that IS environmental armor, complete with air supply and air conditioning. Land Warrior -- I saw a prototype at the space center in Huntsville, Al.

Hackworth is wrong and annoying.... and dangerous. Heard him while I was in the car. It was bad enough that he was saying the suits would not protect our troops, but then he said HE KNOW THE BATTLE PLANS. Then went right ahead and said where the troops would be deployed and that it would be during air strike. Hello Hack - have you ever heard KEEP YOUR BIG MOUTH SHUT!! We can only hope whoever his "sources" are at the Pentagon are feeding him incorrect information!! I like Sean, but I will not listen today since he's going to have a lot of the traitors, anti-American peaceniks clips from this weekend. Doesn't Sean get it.........with his continued coverage, they are getting double media time.
