I just received an e-mail from Art, Mary Ann's husband (vets_husband_and_wife) with an update on Mary Ann.

Update number 6 on Mary Ann from Art:

Greetings again, Apparently Mary Ann was not a good girl. The doc wants her at least one more day. They want to keep the antibiotics via IV going to attempt to reduce or get rid of the inflammation in her bowels. She must be feeling some what better because she is complaining about the hospital food. So this evening I'll fix her whatever her heart desires since she can eat normal food.

Again we thank you for your prayers and well wishes.

I can't thank you all enough for all your FReeePrayers for Mary Ann! With our continuing prayers she will be back to thank you all before long.

I received this FReepmail from xJones yesterday.

I just finished a great conversation with Mary Ann. She's in very good spirits and we talked about diverticulitis, then northern CA, OKC and it's big, hairy insects....she's funny and a real sweetheart. She says it will be tomorrow that she gets released because they ran some more tests on her yesterday and they're trying to rule out Cronin's disease. But she's happy and very grateful to you as a friend, and to her husband, whom she adores.
