USO Canteen FReeper Style ~ New Year's CHEESE Ball! ~ December 31, 2002
American Preservative and FRiends of the Canteen | Wednesday, December 31, 2002 | American Preservative and FRiends of the Canteen

Posted on 12/30/2002 10:17:34 PM PST by American Preservative

The hour is near
Time to face a New Year
A toast to good health, family, and FRiends dear
A wish for safety, prosperity, laughter, and love
And, many, many thanks! to those serving our Country
and, to the One above.

*******************************

OK, was that mushy? Was it cheesy? Yes! Heartfelt, too.....

And, speaking of "CHEESE" (after all....this is Free Republic : ))

You are cordially invited to the Canteen's
New Year's
: )

So guys and dollz it's time to boogie!

*******************************

HAPPY 2003!

Come on and party!

Please pick up your new CHEESY name tag for the ball HERE

(To "find" your new cheesy name, use the first letter of your first name for your first cheesy name. Use the first letter of your last name for the first part of your last cheesy name, or, your middle cheesy name, and, use the last letter of your last name for your cheesy last name. [Thanks LindaSOG. I tweaked the formula. : )]
For example: The name Hillary Clinton becomes Hereford Hop Curd Nokkelost.)

Hey, if that's too much, just pick a few cheese names and have fun! : )

*******************************

So, everyone LET'S CHEESE ROLL! LET'S CHEESE DIP! AND, LET'S HAVE A CHEESE BALL! : )

I'll browse my library to get you the Patsy Cline song that you want. It will take a few. I've got an ice cream crisis to referee at the moment. So? I'll be back in a bit. Goodness. LOL! Happy New Year!! Um, what's your cheesy name??

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL FROM CALIFORNIA!

Currently 64 degrees with unlimited visibility. Hard for many to believe I know, but our Avocado and Orange trees are loaded. Life is good!

Tomorrow they are calling for sun and 72 degrees and unlimited visibility.

I'll be wearing my shorts, (my wife calls it my uniform) and barbequing on New Years Day. I will be barbequing my famous 1/2 pound cheeseburgers, I lovingly call them HADENUF BURGERS!

And tonight, I just happen to have some *great* fireworks left over from the 4th. Can't wait till midnight.....Some of you on the east coast, if you look closely, may be able to see them.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! Even to those liberal Republicans!

Just bumping by to say Happy New Year

I never made a ping list (I'd be afraid of not typing someone's name anyway) so this is for everyone...

Very best wishes for the New Year (-:

Repeats maybe, but worth it.

Even Santa get in the act when over 20,000 lbs. of mail starts to get seperated in the ship's hangar bay. The event took most of day with several "mail calls" for the crew to come pick up their sorted mail. (Photo by PH2 Feliz Garza Jr.)

An S-3B Viking has an interesting piece of "nose art" painted on it while parked on Constellation's flight deck. Flight deck crews took advantage of the "no-fly day" to have a little fun before it was back to work. (Photo by PH2 Peter Carney.)

Good evening Ms. Ricotta String. : ) Good to see you. Yes, the Ball has been, and is, wonderful with all the delightful guests stopping by. : ) The food's a little cheesy, but tasty. : )

May I introduce you to Mr. Airedale Cheddar Wellington? I think he would like to dance with you.
