WASHINGTON (AP) -- Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle said Friday that President Bush was responsible for a "precipitous drop" in America's international stature and for an economy falling apart.
Democrats will emphasize the country's weakened economy in the two weeks leading up to the elections for control of Congress, Daschle said.

While Da$$hole and Gephardless talk about the economy, their STD infected butt buddies in Follywood will continue to attack President Bush for trying to defend American Lives.
The attacks on President Bush by the STD infected Follywood fags and creeps is part of the Rat two pronged attack on President Bush to try and save rat senators from being defeated. Now the al QaedaRats in Congress will attack President Bush on the economy.
However, there are some very positive signs that our economic is coming back.
What hurt our economy was when their pet maggot Jeffords came out of the Rino Closet. Within two weeks the tax and spend rats in the senate scared the hell out of Wall Street.

Now, why is Daschle saying he and his democrats are better for the country? No action against those seeking to kill us in order to appease world opinion? No efforts to create a Homeland Security Department to better protect Americans? Or, if there is one - make sure the unions will tell the president who will do what in the department?
A new world order U.N. to provide protection for Americans instead of our American President standing up for our interests? If the U.N. says no to stopping those that kill us, we just let them kill us?
Rescind the tax cut? Make Americans pay more so that the government can offer more pork to buy votes?
Vote for me, Daschle? I usurp the power designated for the president, refuse to allow legislation to be voted on by the Senate, lie, cheat, defend any and all corruption.
I often wonder exactly what kind of man they want in the White House if they so hate a George Bush, a man of integrity, honor, who first and foremost defends this nation. Why do they hate a man of this type?

He said he would spend about half his time before the election in his home state of South Dakota, where Democratic Sen. Tim Johnson is locked in a battle to register as many ficticious and dead voters as he canNotice how many good ideas little tommy brought forth about how he will tax and spend the economy to a healthy state.

"It's too bad that the promise of the new administration wasn't realized," the South Dakota Democrat said in a harsh appraisal of Bush's first two years in office. "I have cried many tears," continued young Tommy. "I am very surprised that they did not achieve as much as they might have. And I ask myself Why Lord? Why has our President had so little success? I know I have done all I can to assist him, but still they have achieved so little. Why, even in the issue of Judicial appointments, their track record is deplorable! Have you people seen how few judges the Republicans have put on the bench in the past 2 years? We need judges, but the Republicans just refuse to take action. The Democrats are willing to work with the GOP on this issue."

Why do they hate a man of this type? Because he is anathema to what they squirm in the muck for - an honest, decent man makes them look all the more what they are and they know that decent people are sickened when they catch a true glimpse of the so-called Democratic party.

True to form, Daschle is still playing the Bush card, instead of offering economic solutions himself.

He has to attack Bush. He has nothing else to offer.
His economic RX is higher taxes, repeal of the tax relief that we recently got, and being hostile to any business that doesn't contribute big sums to him and the Rats.
One of the positive sides of the recent belly ups of Rat controlled corporations is the top rats in those corporations don't have a lot of spare money to donate to the Rat elections.

Daschle said the Democrats' chances of holding their one-seat majority in the Senate were "slightly better than 50-50." He said four Senate seats now held by Democrats -- in Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota and Georgia -- were up for grabs as were four Republican-held seats in Colorado, New Hampshire, Texas and Arkansas. Democratic candidates, he said, were within striking distance in the North and South Carolina seats being vacated by Republicans Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond.
You know what really strikes me about this? The fact that he threw Georgia in there as being "up for grabs". It doesn't surprise me that he threw TX in there, even though all signs point to Coryan trouncing Kirk, I think he threw it in their to "even the sides". I totally discount that SC and NC are "in striking distance" for the Dems.
If anything I thought NJ would be in the 7th place "up for grabs" slot". Me thinks we shouldn't be all that surpised if GA goes our way.

In international affairs, Daschle said Bush has only recently realized that unilateralism wasn't working. "I don't know if we have ever seen a more precipitous drop in international stature and public opinion with regard to this country as we have the last two years." Mr. Daschle, are you going to make this election a referendum on Bush's foreign policy? Pretty please? With sugar on top!?

The Democratic party -- the party of envy, hate and maliciousness.
To: mombonn
The other night Charlie Rose was interviewing Richard Pearl and Charlie brought the question regarding the economy, Perle told him that the president was going to give a speech on the economy before the election. Yesterday, Larry Kudlow said that he had inside information and was told that the president was going to give a speech on the economy next week. So we know for sure a speech is coming and we all know what happens after the president gives a speech. The democrats will fall on their ugly faces one more time. Viva W!

FWIW, on another thread I posted a Wash Times article detailing where the President is expected to go these last couple of weeks. GA, SC, NC, NJ, CO, and TX all made the list. Then again, not too many states didn't make the list! :-) But in GA the GOP has a chance to steal the gov seat as well as the Senate seat. I'm not saying they will, but they're looking at them both quite seriously, IMHO.

Well, Da$$hole's fellow rat senator from SD has lost at least a couple of illegal votes in the upcoming I saw your tracks on that thread and I'm hoping those two are the first of a long line of many to come.

"Oh, please, please, Br'er Fox, PLEASE don't throw me in that briar patch!" says old Br'er Rabbit, knowing full well that given this challenge, Br'er Fox will surely throw Br'er Rabbit into the briar. What Br'er Fox did not know, is that Br'er Rabbit is right at home in that tangle, and completely beyond the reach of the predator Br'er Fox.
