Why not? The Dems have let the dead vote for them for years in Chicago and Philly.

If Democrats can vote from their prison cells, why shouldn't they run for office from their cells?

I'm not sure I understand why we, as conservative Republicans, would care or even desire, that Traficant run or be elected.
When the surface is scratched, he is just like all the other dimbulbrats, a crook and full of crap.
As far as I'm concerned, he blew it when he defended the 'toon and voted not to impeach.
Republicans owe him nothing.
Let his dimbulbrat friends stand for him.
I won't. The man is a joke. Good riddance to him.

Absolutely. Jail is where most of the demorats in congress should be campaigning from anyway
To: PJ-Comix
Great idea. He should run under the "Crooks For Congress" banner.

Absolutely, I believe that all democrats should run for office from prison cells!!

I vote YES!
Why not? The rest of those jokers up there are nothing but a bunch of criminals - both Dems and Repub, so why not?
IMHO, they ALL belong in jail from the top down!
I hope he writes a book and spills the beans on all the nefarious dealings of Congress.
BTW, I don't think it's a wig. Nobody in their right mind would spend $$ on a wig that ridiculous looking! He's just had a bad hair day every day of his life! LOL!

Since his residency is Allentown, Pa. he no longer lives in his district. I don't see how he can run legally.

This poll is flawed.
I can't participate.
There are only Yes and No votes
Where are the "Moderate Undecided"?

Somehow it just seems more honest and natural for a congressman to serve from jail.

Absolutely!
The only difference between Traficant and the other Dems is a "Different" set of bars in front of him. He i9s surrounded by criminals just like the other members of Congress.

Anybody remember
Alcee Hastings??
As a federal district judge, he was IMPEACHED, CONVICTED, and REMOVED from the bench by Congress.
NOW, he is a democrat US Representative from Florida.
Deemed UNFIT to interpret the law... yet completely able to MAKE THE LAW.
I don't see a significant difference between Hastings and Trafficant.
Let him run!
To: PJ-Comix
Why not let him run? Marion Berry got busted on Cocaine charges multiple times and was still elected Mayor of D.C.
To: PJ-Comix
Hell yes, why not?

I don't think he should run, but if his hair wants to that would be fine IMO!
