Hannity Blasts FreeRepublic (maybe he is right)
Radio | Sean Hannity

Posted on 08/02/2002 2:40:49 PM PDT by jbstrick

Hannity just stated on his radio show that he has just about had enough of the conservative cannibals on this board. To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives.

He said if he wants to get attacked he will go to a Liberal board.

I have a tendency to agree...

You know, you have a great point. I had sooo much fun in this forum during the fall/winter 2000 and 2001.

Has Bush ever vetoed anything?

No, Bush has the backbone of a jellyfish. The Congress served up a freebie to him in the form of the Farm Bill he signed. Conservatives were better off with Clinton in the WH. Clinton had the brains and the stones to use his veto power whenever Newtie, Bobdole, and other Repukes in Congress served up pieces of trash like the Farm Bill signed into law by the favorite of most FR posters.

How about those who say that others are not a ' true conservative'. That one always gives me a chuckle. Of all the arrogance.

Sean is not a liberal or a bush bot etc but believing on the WOD certainly does not make you more conservative its just irrational stupidity reminescent of a liberal.

He probably just doesn't understand the Internet. It's not like broadcast or radio where the host gets to control everything that gets "on air."

Sam Smith at Progressive Review had a great line about this phenomenon - he says a lot of journalists have dipped their toes into the world of the Internet, but pulled them out when the aquatic life snapped back...

Did he specifically refer to FR?

Yes.

He said FR's tend to cannibalize conservatives.

Your right. The US is so far down the road of socialism now that there is no going back, ever.

This site is what ever you want it to be. I remember months on end people screaming about some guy and the Black Forest. I never read a peep about it, just didn't care. There is also dozens of people who get kicked off this site and come back as some one else. There are those who did every thing they could to stop us during impeachment. Others will also come! Good and bad! Obviously Hannity must come to this site often and maybe some people took a whack at him and it pissed him off!

Regardless, this site has so many aspects to it, is funny that people are pointing out that there are jerks in the world...dah! They are all over the place, grow thicker skin and do what my mother always said: "Be polite and ignore them, it will drive them wild!"

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.

(feel free to ignore the following)

Point number two: Dude, FR is more or less an anonymous chat room. You have to learn to ignore some things/people or you'll go freeping crazy (or at least get your panties in a wad).

I've bashed Sean for the sins of obnoxiousness, predictibility, superficiality and vapidity. Other than that, I've blown him wet kisses all the way.

The last really true conservative we had as President was Coolidge. Reagan came close of course. Women's suffrage really helped out the socialist a lot. Women are less rational, more "compassionate"( with other people money of course), and more likely to vote security over freedom. Ive heard on FR( though Im not sure if its true) FDR campaigned as an ultra conservative but that didn't last long.

If Sean doesn't like being attacked, he should go home to Momma.

Sean Hannity is awesome, a real spokesperson for the Republic.

Don't get sucked in, Sean, the Libs have psy-ops - we're on to them.

How Hannity bash FR without attacking conservatives himself?

When RINOs bash, it's being "realistic." When others defend theselves, it's "bashing."
