"That this nation shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

-- Abraham Lincoln
-- Gettysburg, Nov. 19, 1863.

Electrical Engineering student, free market, hawkish, secular(non religious right deist not athiest) ultra-conservative. Also chairman of the vast right wing conspiracy and proud member of the FR amen corner. Close to a libertarian( and closer to a randist libertarian) but I cannot accept the non initation of force part. You need to strike preemptively against your enemies sometimes.

"Arm yourselves, and be ye men of valour, and be in readiness for the conflict; for it is better for us to perish in battle than to look upon the outrage of our nation and our altar." -Winston Churchill

On our victory in Afghanistan in the context of the wider war

"This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." - Winston Churchill

On my own country I love it but I find this to be very true

The Americans will always do the right thing... after they've exhausted all the alternatives.

On my view of the government

Self-government means self-support. - Calvin Coolidge

On a final note I think only property owners, who do not recieve any government entitlements should vote as our founders intended it

this helps guard against socialism. Nobody can ever get rid of entitlements because

those on the take vote. Also if property is held jointly only someone designated

( head of household I assume this will be the man in most families) should vote. This

will neutralize the commie soccer moms.

"Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges." The more corrupt the state is then the more numerous the laws. -- Tacitus, The Annals of Imperial Rome

" Democrats piss me off".

"Political correctness is just tyranny with manners"- Charlton Heston.

"A liberal is a communist who is too stupid to know it."-me

The Universal franchise without constitutional restraint just ensures tyranny of the majority-me

Why Democracy doesn't work

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's great civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage." -Alexander Tyler

On the Inhabitants of the Middle East

200 years from now, I want their children's children's children's children to cower and cringe in fear whenever they hear the sounds of jet engines overhead because their legends tell of fire from the sky. I want them to hide in dark caves and holes in the earth, shivering with terror whenever they hear the roar of diesel engines because the tales of their ancestors talk about metal monsters crawling over the earth, spitting death and destruction.

I want their mothers to be able to admonish them with "If you don't behave, the Pale Destroyers will come for you", and that will be enough to reduce them to quivering obesience.

I want the annihilation to be so complete that their mythology will tell them of the day of judgment when the stern gods from across the sea .. the powerful 'Mericans .. destroyed their forefathers' wickedness.
