Jesse Jackson to meet Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin

By Reuters

In a move certain to anger Israel, U.S. civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson planned a meeting Wednesday with Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, founder of the Muslim militant group Hamas responsible of the deaths of scores of Israelis in suicide attacks.

Sheikh Yassin Tuesday that he welcomed Jackson's visit, expected to take place at his home in Gaza.

On Tuesday Jackson called for President George W. Bush to help end Israeli military occupation and build a Palestinian state.

Jackson, on a Middle East peace mission, embraced children in Bethlehem's Manger Square and lit candles in the Church of the Nativity, revered by Christians as Jesus's birthplace and the scene of a stand-off earlier this year between Palestinian militants and Israeli soldiers.

Israeli armored personnel carriers drove by, a reminder of the city's thousands of people under curfew in their houses for all but about six hours a day. Israel reoccupied and imposed curfews in seven West Bank cities after suicide attacks in June.

"President Bush must use the power of the United States...to enforce the U.S. policy and UN policy to seek reconciliation, to try and build statehood, to invest in reconstruction, to end occupation," Jackson said in a speech.

Earlier in the week Jackson met with Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres.

The 60-year-old leader of the Chicago-based Rainbow/PUSH Coalition heads a delegation representing religious faiths that is also meeting rights groups, victims of violence and religious leaders in a five-day visit which began on Saturday.

Funny REEEVVVRRREEENNNNDDD Jackson (I too can buy a diploma on the internet Jackson) is spending all his time meeting with people on the United States known terrorist list, but does not seem to have time to visit with the only government in the region, Israel.
One would suspect that Jackpot Jackson is a terrorist himself, wouldn't one. What is that old saying? Turds of a feather, stick together?

Gotta use reverse psychology here.

Gee Mr. Hamas leader. Please dont let anything happen to Jesse Jackson. He quite valuable to our nation. Why, this country couldnt function without him. We just dont know what we would do without him, so please take good care of him and see to it that he gets back home safely and as soon as possible.

Why is Jesse Jackison doing such an obviously stupid thing as to meet with the leader of Hamas? It's not that he doesn't do stupid things. He practically holds a patent on that. But where's either the money or the sex angle?

Jackison is not known to move a muscle unless one of his two primary incentives is present. Anyone have any clues on that?

Absolutely. With my best wishes, do share the article with Li'l Tommy Daschle. But you might also share it with John Thune's troops. They will really enjoy it, rather than sending it to the round file immediately, as Daschle's troops will do.

MAYBE?

I wonder if he's going to cancel the meeting in light of the bombing at Hebrew University in Jerusalem this morning--the one that's killed seven so far, injured over 80, the one that Hamas has claimed credit. </Naaaaw. Jesse will go anyway, to try to convince Hamas not to tell the Jews to go back to where they came from. It just sounds so mean, you know. (/sarcasm)

"Demand a large ransom"

Yes, his organization is very rich because they pay no taxes to the U.S. government so in a sense it would be the Great Satan USA that is paying his ransom.

I think he is involved in illegal arms sales. Liz and I have discussed this.

Remember, his Wall Street buddy Eric Ingraham is in prison on a plea bargain for money laundering on an illegal arms deal with two Pakistanis.

I swear, this is the only reason that this guy has such clout with all the Third World thugs. I am convinced that he is somehow involved in moving money for arms dealers at the very least. He has a 501c3 to hide money, Wall Street donations to cover big sums that suddenly appear, and contacts with every loser regime in the world.

I think this is a perfect explanation, and I hope Mossad is monitoring his every word with Arafat and Hamas.
