We all meet at dawn tomorrow! - Rush Limbaugh
Posted on 11/02/2026 5:27:01 PM PST by cotton1706
It's not exactly the same now that there's not just a single voting day.
However the spirit of the phrase still rings true.
Let's strike a blow for Liberty tomorrow.
And Godspeed!

.... Heck ..... A massive percentage of Republicans better get off their collective duffs and make it to the polls tomorrow cuz way Back in 2024 the numbers were a lot different ...... Republicans beat Democrats in early voting by about 41,000 ...... This year Democrats beat Republicans by over 343,000. I know it's the Midterms .... But what the heck .... That's a lot to overcome in strategic areas
.

Unlike in Rush’s day, we now have multiple betting markets that will take odds on nearly anything you can think of.
The people who bet real money are not being kind to Republicans today.

Some of us meet at dawn. Others, some on here, will meet to talk about how they can position the ole GOPe Bush Wing as the savior of the party after a (hoped for) crushing defeat.

They’re betting real money based on biased reporting. Lots of people lost lots of money in 2024 betting on Harris because the media repeatedly reported she was the favorite to win.

Looks like an opportunity to gauge the reliability of Polymarket. I hope it fails.

I did too, but I will be outside the polling location in my town at 7 AM, and plan to be there until 7 PM.

***This year Democrats beat Republicans by over 343,000***
I keep hearing this repeated but it could well be misleading. I also keep hearing that many traditional Dems are washing their hands of their past favorite party. A voter is normally restricted to voting in their registered party only in primaries. General elections only require registered voters (legally) to identify themselves, but not to ask for a 'party' ballot.
The reason is that 'primaries' are actually private elections although conducted by govt election officials at public expense. (Of course the Demo'Rats are perverting the primary practices - such as 'open' primaries and 'rank choice voting' - so that they can gain control and eliminate two-party politics!)

Gonna get the Harley out tomorrow (Tuesday). ride on over to the poll station and do my vote.
Then gonna get some firing range time to celebrate a little.
Have a whiskey or two out on the porch when I get home.
